    GIL CHEUNG, BRANDON UNIVERSITY MEN'S BASKETBALL COACH
    Head Coach Gil Cheung is a former Bobcat who led the team to two National Championship finals as team captain, a former Academic All-Canadian, and a former assistant coach for both the Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams.
    Cheung spent two years as Head Coach at Douglas College in New Westminster, BC and two years as an assistant at Simon Fraser University. Cheung graduated from Brandon University with a Bachelor of General Studies in 2002 and a Bachelor of Education in 2004.
    “My goal is to produce great athletes who do great things on the court, in the classroom, and in the community,” says Cheung.
    Gil has 7 years of teaching experience in public and private school systems. He has taught physical education from kindergarten through senior years. He currently teaches a variety of activity courses in the Physical Education department, from Outdoor Education to Fitness and Conditioning.
