My greatest enjoyment as a mom was being able to go Costco, on my own, with NO children in tow. It was so relaxing to just shop at my own pace with no fighting kids (all boys), and not having to say "no" multiple times. I used to drag out the time just to enjoy the quiet.
LUV your Purple Sneakers 💜💜💜, GREAT choice. Our Feet are SO important! They carry us EVERYWHERE. Without foot Comfort in our travels, I've realized my Back, & sometimes my Whole Body Hurts 😱😱😊😊😊. Great Review👍.
I find the Roomba I have works best on hard floors. It also helps if you have minimal furniture for it to bounce off of. It does help keep dust down between regular vacuuming.
Living alone makes most things food wise too much for me and not worth the membership but I sure would love to go along with someone once in a while and get a few things😊 Thanks for the ride along Mama Baird.
I bought my pantry and fridge bins at dollar tree. Works great for little containers and bags. No falling over or between the wire grate. Faster fridge and pantry cleaning also. Great video as well 👍
That is a GREAT PRICE for Milk!!!!! That is a SUPER GREAT PRICE for a Whole Cooked Chicken😮😮!!!!!! $ 60. Under Budget , WOW - you killed it!!!!!!! W/that extra $ 60. you can go for 2 Frappes, once a week for one month - & have $ 5.00 left over 😊😊😊. Njoy, you deserve it 🥰!! TYFS.
Christmas is done. Thank goodness I looked on line at Walmart. Kids wanted paddle board and large lay down for the little ones but with straps and 40 inch lake is packed with people exercising on so next summer there going to have a blast. No more junk stuff. And new socks . And $24. Beach towel down to $1.50 yep tired of throwing money away. Still canning food, winter garden is all in, and dehydrating none stop.
If you can get an air fryer on sale come Black Friday- get it. Get a large size. It’s worth gold and you will use it all the time and food cooked in it is delicious and so much healthier than pan frying. My daughter’s family of 5 ( sometimes 6 as I am a regular babysitter there and guest for dinner) uses theirs constantly.
I have a roomba and I love it i have it for my first floor and works amazing! I get satisfaction when I sit down to watch a movie at night and it’s vacuuming for me! I have my family live a minimalist life so we never have things on the floor I would say if you always have things in the floor (toys, blankets etc)it would not be for you. It would get stuck on everything!
iv got the big ninjz and its great love it and i used to be a dyson girl but shark now alot cheaper and are as good as dyson i use them storage in my fridge one for yoguarts 1 for cheese one for raw meat one for cooked meat one for salad then the draw ui use for fruit and veg like it neat
The cat question: YES!! My Sebby will only eat crunchy food or treats. I’ve tried chewy and soft treats and lickable-the works and nope. He eats a urinary Iams mixed with a hair ball both dry and crunchy! Haha He’s such a nut 😅🩵
I haven't seen this freeze dry but like to I've seen milk and creamer cool but to do up many pots of coffee let get cold and poor on tray's in the dryer this prevent spilling but does coffee come back better and storing it so if you have water boiling you have a fresh beverage.
@mamabairds yeah I always get the salted caramel with extra shot of coffee. They have pumpkin one but I've never tried pumkin ever so wont buy it lol . Trust me u will love it! Xx
Getting out for under 200 is totally admirable on your part! You walk the walk of frugality and resourcefulness in those great new shoes. You keep on educating us in so many ways. I love this Costco haul. Thanks for your thoughful and entertaining videos!
You are TOO Cute w/that Ponytail & Sexy Shirt/Blouse 😚😚! I'm luvin' this Costco Tour/Haul! P.S. Those Collapsible Bins look Mighty Sturdy. I NEED about ten (10) of those PLEEEEZZZZZ 😊. Back to your video.
I always get a rotisserie chicken from Costco! When I am done shopping, I treat myself to a hotdog. It is hard to get out of that store for under $200.00. Your top today is really cute!
Medications (over the counter) can save you the cost of the membership fast. Like my kirkland branded arieus allerby meds is pennies on the dollar. I got some at a drug store... generic because I was having a life threatening reaction... over 20 for 20 generic pills. At costco it is 30 to 40 for 180 pills. .22 cents per pill vs 1.00 each pill. That covers the cost of membership alone. But, that is not all, acidimenophen... a pack of 400 caps was on sale for $15. or 10 for 100 tabs at walmart. (I have allergies and arthritis and other things... don't judge me. I take zero perscribed meds by choice when it comes to pain stuff.) I am in Canada... and it is important to run the numbers where you live.
I say you go for that Pumpkin Frappe Girl!!! You and your husband do so much for your family and deserve to treat yourself every once in a while🎉. Looks very yummy too.
Im 74 and lost my husband in 2020 i can't even think about going to costco...im lucky i got into public housing by the skin of my teeth...so consider yourself lucky...i do enjoy your videos though
Im going to costco on wednesday for my monthly haul and also im going to the chef store for my monthly haul cuz the chef store has things i need that costco doesnt have and i love your shirt its real pretty and looks so good on you
Oh that's great! I just discovered our chef's store and can see myself in there a lot in the future! I think I'm going to get the gallon of hidden valley ranch that they sell there. We go through so much ranch for them chicken nuggets! Haha
My hubby made mine from the jewelry at Costco it was a square with diamonds around it with a yellow inorang yellow in the center it is the only ring I wear it's heavy v
I have animals, 2 cats and 2 dogs and myself with a head of hair lol. I use my roomba all the time. Like everyday. It is nice bc it can run while I do other stuff then I can mop when it's done ❤ love your videos. My mom does too.
Thanks for taking us along, Carolina! I haven’t been in a Costco in years, so this was a pretty awesome tour! I want those wings. They’re my favorite 🥰 Meant to also say I loved your shoes. Cute and comfy!! Good deal!
@@mamabairds Morning. Well I live on budget now every month. An with the price of everything going up. It's not easy for someone on disability. Yep disability. I am 62 now an a stage 4-A lung cancer. It's my second time around with cancer. I change my way of cooking. I cook from scratch an fresh food. But I do love Costco pizza. So I get that once a month. Separate it an put in the freezer as well as the roastier chicken. 😁
Happy you and hubby got a coffee. You deserve it with all the work you put into your family. Good 👍 haul and glad you got out by yourself. Love 💕 and Hugs. ❤❤❤
I forgot all about that salad with mozzarella, tomato, basil, and balsamic vinegar! It’s so easy to make at home, although mine probably won’t be as pretty as theirs lol
That circus wine is actually from a winery about 5 miles from my house. I’ve never tried that one but they have some pretty fantastic wines. I prefer an old vine Zinfandel or Muscato. I always think it’s so cool to see our local wines being sold in another state.
That would be cool to see a local wine in another state! I feel the same way about Montana stuff! Haha. Thanks for the comment! I like Muscato as well!
I go to Sam’s club alot that’s close to my area. I would love to check out Costco to. It helps my family of six I also get my kids school snack there and drinks in bulk
The food bank is there for all members of the community, not just "poor" people. It helps me stretch my budget so I can afford paper supplies at Costco and the occasional treat for Husband and I!
Anybody else think that chicken was huge? I don't know about yall but the last time I got one it was about half that size! I wonder what the price was for it
somebody acted like i was ridiculous for thinking sixty dollars for an hours work was too much for one person. Sigh. I had to switch to costco dog food the stuff i was feeding them jumped up to 71 dollars for 24lbs.
That is literally what you have to make per hour to have a livable wage in the current economy though. Not everyone sees the trouble we are in as a country.
@@mamabairds It is because Costco meat has always been so good. Their hamburger is still good but the steaks which were always exceptional if I buy a pkg. Of six that look great I get them home and turn them over and you can see the gristle on the other side and I am speaking of fillet mignon s0 2 out of the six are not edible as a fillet same with the new york steak
We have a sams and Costco membership and while I like what I get at Costco, we use sams more often. I think the people are just different at each store. I get anxiety at Costco and am ok at sams. My friend says because the people at Sams are professionals lol. Our sams membership is because my husband uses it for work but if he needs anything, that’s where he stops so we always have extra of everything. I can’t complIn because we have what we need. About the coffee….I consider things like that part of the experience. I can make better coffee at home but it’s nice to grab some when I am out. It is a treat and we all need treats. Same with wings, or really almost any meal…except steak. I will to get a ribeye out because my husband can grill a good ribeye and we can get a huge one cheaper than the smallest at a restaurant. I’ll get prime rib at a restaurant, because that’s a treat. It makes sense in my head 😂
Yes I am the same way, We just got a Costco last year and I already had a Sam's club membership. i tried the Costco for a year and still ended up using the Sam's club more so I canceled the Costco one. I feel like Costco has more of the organic and higher end products which while nice they also come at a cost. I was able to get some of the same products just not organic at sams for a fraction of the cost. Also Costco gave me huge anxiety as well. I do agree, grabbing a coffee or special drink/food while out is part of the experience.
