Want these custom 23 & 25MM spacers? You can pick them up here: ashtonperformance.com/collections/featured-collection/products/25mm-23mm-motorsport-tech-wheel-spacers-4-total-2015-2018-all
I went with the P51 wheels which are 19x10 front and 19x11rear. They are specifically designed for the 15 up mustang and fit perfectly flush and weighing only a super light 21pounds versus the factory 40 lb. Wheels
Great video Jeff. Very professional looking. Your car looks great, love your subtle mods. I know spacers get a lot of hate but I totally agree with you that they make the car look so much better.
josh lotoczky thanks Josh, Im always trying to up the quality for you guys! The wheels are just way too tucked without the spacers and being lowered makes that even more apparent. I may go with a new set of wheels down the road, but I really love the factory design of the performance pack wheels.
"The wider the track the better the handling"! Right Jeff? I couldn't believe how much better my 2012 gt handled after putting on some 19x9.5 rtr wheels from brembo pkg wheels which were set in the fender well way too far, now the rtr's sit right at the fenders👍🏻 and since my year didn't come with rear mud flaps, I had to get some for a 2012 gt 500 and now nothing throws up on the paint😉
I bought a 15 GT, with PP1 black wheels, that is lowered with an aftermarket track suspension setup. The rear had a spacer installed, but not in front. It drove like it was pigeon toed and the front wheels looked weird and tucked under the front fenders. I installed a 25MM/1inch front spacer and entirely changed the look of the car, and how it drives. The pigeon toed driving characteristic is gone and it corners better.
Jeff Ashton They are very drivable for my daily. I was a little concerned at first because I'm running the APR cf front splitter but haven't had any issues yet. Feels exactly like stock PP if not better. I installed the BMR lockout cradle with it and Steeda bushing insert system. If you don't have the lockout cradle I highly recommend it for wheel hop.
You wanna know how to get a custom set of 23mm spacers? You buy a 25mm set and have a local machine shop take 2mm off the rear face of the spacer in their lathe. Should cost you all of about $20.
Love that drop! I'm curious how much you dropped it and if only an alignment was good enough or did u have to get caster camber plates? Also was woundering if you had long tubes and if not what you'd recommend. Thanks again and great video as always!
JohnBlueGT I wasn't too concerned since they were more so to drive to and from the track, but since they stayed on for about 2,000 miles I had plenty of chances to drive with them in the rain and was really impressed. As long as you aren't being stupid they are completely fine in the rain.
Hey Jeff I love having wheel spacers I know lots of people say they're bad but if you know what you doing then you shouldn't have a problem I just got two new tires for my front with nittos and discount tire refuse to put my wheel spacers back on so now I have to find someone else to put them on. But great video
Just found your channel and also just purchased a 2016 mustang California special with only 5000 miles on it from a retired gentleman that bought it and basically never drove it and has been garage it's hole life. The exhaust has already been done and looking at a Barton shifted now. I really like the mods you have done to yours. Also you have a nice shop but I have got to ask after watching a lot of your videos I haven't seen the first toolbox yet. Lol I know they are there due to the things you've been doing to your car and others. Just seems odd not seeing one. Keep up the good videos I'm getting some good ideas from you. You also have a new subscriber.
Great job, just caught this since I am going for spacers on my new 2022. I am very curious on what brand the mud flaps or where you purchased them? In the meantime your machine looks mint, hope the 5 years have been kind to her.
Hey Jefff great videos! Say, I just got a 2018 GT PP1, it comes with 19x9.5 in the rears and 19x9 in the front. Did you get 19x10 on the front also? I like the 19x10 with 305's on the rear and just need to know what to do in the front.
Nice. I have the same car with 1" all the way around... a little poke in the rear but I kinda like it that way...gonna go with the Eibach pro kit next. Keep the vids coming. Good work guy.
Thanks man, it's just preference at the end of the day. 25mm still looks killer in the rear. The Eibach setup will look good and another nice thing with them is you get new bump stops unlike with BMR.
UdoucheBAGG thanks! The NT05R is an underrated tire. It provides a great balance of traction and wear, while still being usable in the rain. I've ran MT drag radials before and while they are stickier, they would wear faster and were horrid in the rain.
Car looks clean! Quick question, what's the widest tire you can go with stock PP wheels front and rear? Like if I were to go with 305/35 rears, what would the front be? 275/35?
The car looks awesome man. I have a Black PP and it is so close to looking perfect. I don't have the spacers or springs yet, but they definitely complete the car. I know you mentioned it in the video, but could you say again the spring set up, and maybe provide a link where we could get those spacers! Keep the content coming!
Wondering if you could help. I have Current wheels. P Zero 255/40 ZR 19 96Y all round and wanted to know if I could use 25mm all round. Secondly after fitment do you have to realign the wheel geometry front and back?
I have the performance pack set up as well and was was considering putting bags on my car in the future. Is there enough clearance if I went with the 25mm front/23mm rear setup?
Hey Jeff, did you notice any handling issues with the spacers on the fronts? American Muscle doesn't recommend putting them up front, although it seems everyone does it anyway lol.
Have watched this video multiple times as I contemplate spacers as a future mod. I have a 2017 GT Premium performance pack convertible. I keep looking at the set up on that magnetic gray vert in the background. Would love to know what suspension set up the owner is running. Spacers too? Or just different wheels...?
Jeff where did you get your spacers from? I worry about using spacers up here in Canada but the look keeps tempting me to try them out. Love your car brother. Love the videos. Keep up the good work. Lots of great info. I wish your shop was around my area! Cheers Trevor
I got the spacers from here, I'm glad you're enjoying the vids man! Here: ashtonperformance.com/collections/featured-collection/products/25mm-23mm-motorsport-tech-wheel-spacers-4-total-2015-2018-all
What brand spacers? Also, I'm over in Melbourne and would love to meet up with you and the mustang life crew. Planning on going to OSW a week from Wednesday to run my 17 ecoboost after getting my mods finished up this week. When do you all usually go?
Dan Cassone ashtonperformance.com/collections/featured-collection/products/25mm-23mm-motorsport-tech-wheel-spacers-4-total-2015-2018-all I haven't been to OSW in a bit, but will be heading back soon. We have a meet just about every Wednesday in Deland.
I've wanted to put some spacers on my performance pack gt since I got the car... Just worried about throwing rocks down the side though... Flaps did cross my mind but I'm worried it would look awful on the comp orange. Mines a base to so I don't have the plastic trim on the bottom of my rear bumper which would make the flaps seem even more out of place... Hate the factory fitment though...
Murdered Stang do it! I don't think the guards would look bad, even with a base rear bumper. They are very subtle and have definitely protected my paint.
I'm def going to look into it, what flaps did you get? I like how they don't look out of place at all. Didn't even notice them until you said something about them!
Has any of you guys have/had any trouble with the front spacers? The guys over AM and cj kept saying not to use them on the front cus it messes up with supposedly everything.
Jeff, big fan of your vids. I notice most people keep the staggered look on these S550s but I was curious if it would be possible to put the 19x10" replica PP wheel all the way around for a square setup. I'd possibly go with a 285 series tire all around or something of similar size. Curious if anyone has done the math for offsets and if spacers are required. Any help would appreciated. I have the a 2017 GT PP base model in all black.
I have a silver 2016 with the performance pack. I really like the wheel style too but, I wish i could have got the wheels in silver instead of black. I think it would have been great to get a 10" wide in the back with a 305 from the factory. I don't understand. They are a P.I.T.A. to clean.
That looks Bad a$$! Question, how does offsetting the rear and lowering it work under load (having two passengers)? Do the tires rub with the quarter panel when it hits bumps on the road?
Just keep those wheels there is absolutely no reason for you to eventually swapped them I agree with you I absolutely love the performance pack wheels the gloss black and style of the wheels are beautiful
I know this is 5 years ago but the term wheel spacer is incorrect those you have on your car are wheel apadters, the difference between a wheel spacer and adapter is wheel spacers are a thin piece of metal / aluminum and are without studs, adapters are hub centric and have studs on them that bolt onto the the hub then you bolt your wheels onto them that is the difference. You can also get hub centric wheel spacers. That is why wheel adapters are much safer and more reliable than wheel spacers because wheel spacers just go between the hub and the wheel with no reliability of not coming off.
Have you gotten any small paint chips in the front fender part of the rear fenders? Basically where the edge of the door closes. I have 25mm spacer in the rear but I noticed some small paint chips in the front part of the fender on both sides of the rear. It's funny, I have not had any paint chips on the rear part of the fender where is you would think all the rocks get pushed to.
Yes, but you have them in the rear part of the fender. I'm referring to the front part of the fender. Where the door meets with the fender or where the side skirt ends.
Most of the issue is reduced bearing life, and some altered tire wear. Bit IF the spacers are quality, and IF they are installed properly, no real danger. I'm not sure I'd take it to track dayset up like that, but for anything else, sure.
Honestly, mainly to address the horrible offsets the factory wheels come with. I love the performance pack wheels and these spacers just simply make them sit flush with the fenders. They aren't a substitute for wider rims because with a wider rim/tire you'll have a wider contact patch.
My local Ford Shop/Dealership tells me that If I go with anything less than 25mm spacers on my 2018 Mustang, I will have to cut my wheel lugs a few milimeters since I wont be able to get the wheels to sit flush on the spacers.. They say the hub lugs will point out through the spacer and make contact with the wheels inabeling the wheel to sit flush with the spacer if you know what I mean.. Can anyone debunk this? I do have the stock black performancepack wheels Jeff Ashton has in this clip. Regards!
Jeff Ashton I put the replicas on the back in 10" with the same Nitto 305 .35 in back. I was trying to move the old rear tires to the front without spacers and the factor wheel weight nailed the shock and didn't work. I assume since I dropped it 1" all away around and want to move the old rear 9.5 wheels that are 275.45 to the front I should do the 25mm spacers? Do you think that's the right choice moving old rear rims and tires to front with that spacer or will that stick out to much?
The inner lip/tire on the 9.5 when put on the front will sit about .25" closer to the inner strut, which could've been what closed the clearance issue with the strut. A 25MM or 30MM spacer would put you near flush with the fender and should more than solve any clearance issues with the strut.
cold022 thanks for the help. Just want e to clarify that the 9.5" rest with 25mm should sit flush and not stop KC out to far? I was initially thinking it would be to far and was trying to get around 10-15mm.
Check out Jeff's comments @3:48 and again @8:23, and then watch his later video about slamming this car into a guard rail. Wow, I wonder how that happened???

Jeff Ashton link no longer works
linky no worky

Jeff Ashton I agree! They are the best looking factory ford wheel for the mustang👍🏻 they look like bbs wheels in a way!
I got 25mm on all 4. love the tough look. mine is an all black 15 pp ecoboost. but it looks amazing! great videos !
Paul Speaker thanks Paul! They are definitely a great way to improve the appearance of these cars without going with a completely new wheel setup.
Paul Speaker mine 18 Ecoboost PP what spacers did you get.

Running literally the exact same setup , BMR sp980 with Motorsport Tech spacers. Perfect fitment !
Great minds think alike! Their spacers really impressed me. How are you liking your BMR springs?
Jeff Ashton They are very drivable for my daily. I was a little concerned at first because I'm running the APR cf front splitter but haven't had any issues yet. Nader S thanks! Yeah, definitely want to always make sure they are torqued.

Looks great I'm about to put coyote spacers with my pp wheels. What brand are those mud guards?
Where did you get those mud flaps and did you have to drill holes do the install or can it go back to factory without new holes left behind? Thanks!
Hey Jefff great videos! Say, I just got a 2018 GT PP1, it comes with 19x9.5 in the rears and 19x9 in the front. Did you get 19x10 on the front also? I like the 19x10 with 305's on the rear and just need to know what to do in the front.

One of the cleanest, mean ass stangs. Have you ever used E85 in this beast? Will you recommend or talk about any harmful effects of E85
Car looks clean! Quick question, what's the widest tire you can go with stock PP wheels front and rear? Like if I were to go with 305/35 rears, what would the front be? 275/35?
Nice car.. I have a Roush Mustang an I'm getting 25mm spacers soon... Nice set up.. Keep the videos coming
How are the rock flaps holding up? Any small rock chips after installing them?
The car looks awesome man. I have a Black PP and it is so close to looking perfect. I don't have the spacers or springs yet, but they definitely complete the car. I know you mentioned it in the video, but could you say again the spring set up, and maybe provide a link where we could get those spacers! Keep the content coming!
Christian Holloway for sure man, they are BMR SP080 springs. I'll get the spacer info for you. 👍
Right on. Thanks.
Look awesome. Did you have to shave the rear studs to be able to get the wheels to go all in the way in??
what was the offset before you ran your spacers? I'm gonna be running +35 in the rears...hopefully wont need spacers.
Wondering if you could help. I have Current wheels. P Zero 255/40 ZR 19 96Y all round and wanted to know if I could use 25mm all round. Secondly after fitment do you have to realign the wheel geometry front and back?
Fitment is killer on the car .great job man
HOW DOES THE WHEEL SPACERS EFFECT THE HANDLING
I love my performance pack wheels too, I just hate cleaning them 🙄🙄🙄🤣🇺🇸
I have the performance pack set up as well and was was considering putting bags on my car in the future. Is there enough clearance if I went with the 25mm front/23mm rear setup?
Hey Jeff, did you notice any handling issues with the spacers on the fronts? American Muscle doesn't recommend putting them up front, although it seems everyone does it anyway lol.
Hey Jeff sweet ride. Where can I find the 23mm spacers? I cant find any where. I currently have the 25 mm and they poke out a tad
What's the deal with the Grabber Blue 13/14 Mustang? EVERY time you pan across it my heart skips a beat. Hands down my favorite 'Stang.
SuperDrake79 haha it's a time capsule. 😜 but seriously that car is waiting for the right buyer. One of my favorite cars too. 👍
Well feel free to message me details on it. Thanks!
Jeff Ashton It's supercharged right?
The only color I would get a mustang in.
Jeff what torque spec did you use, spacer to hub, wheel to spacer?
Have watched this video multiple times as I contemplate spacers as a future mod. I have a 2017 GT Premium performance pack convertible. I keep looking at the set up on that magnetic gray vert in the background. Would love to know what suspension set up the owner is running. Spacers too? Or just different wheels...?
I really like that flush look with the factory wheels. You mentioned the 23mm spacers on the back we custom? That's too bad id love a set.
I carry them now. In-stock ready to ship at www.ashtonperformance.com
Great to know thanks!
Jeff where did you get your spacers from? I worry about using spacers up here in Canada but the look keeps tempting me to try them out.
Love your car brother. Love the videos. Keep up the good work. Lots of great info.
I wish your shop was around my area!

are you lowered , will these work with lowering springs. 1.0 and 1.5 inch drop thanks
What brand spacers? Also, I'm over in Melbourne and would love to meet up with you and the mustang life crew. Planning on going to OSW a week from Wednesday to run my 17 ecoboost after getting my mods finished up this week. When do you all usually go?

Cool! Maybe one of these weeks I'll head up that way
Dan Cassone for sure man, if you decide to go DM me on Instagram @thejeffashton and I'll get the address for you.
The setup looks perfect man! Don't break the lens!! hahaha. The mustang looks great!!
Thanks Lucas! I'll try not too. =P
Do you have aftermarket bulbs in your head lights and fog lights? If so, what kind? Thanks.
Car looks good. Do you think these spacers would work with Sportline springs on a 16GT with PP wheels.
Hey Jeff.. nice video. Wanted to know if you had aligned it after lowering and adding spacers.
You are me hero Jeff
My*
I willllllll be your HERO! :P
Jeff Ashton you mean go pro hero?😜😝 haha!
I've got a GoPro Hero! I still need to use it. :)
You can't really tell you put wheel spacers on there because you lower the car too much just saying
Murdered Stang I picked them up from a company called ZL1 add ons. They usually have a coupon code too.
Sounds good! Thanks for the info man, I appreciate it!
Murdered Stang anytime! 👍👍
So with spacers you need to torque them twice (initial and then after 150miles) any time the wheels are removed (rotation etc)??
TheReal NateDogg that's what is recommended by the manufacturers so I always do it.
What would you suggest for a 2005 Mustang GT to get this kind of look?
Stance looks sweet Jeff! If I had the money I would love to have that grabber blue GT! Beautiful!
Thanks Kris! The Grabber is a sick car, even better in person.
I bet it is for sure! Always an awesome color choice next to competition orange!
Has any of you guys have/had any trouble with the front spacers? The guys over AM and cj kept saying not to use them on the front cus it messes up with supposedly everything.
hey jeff how much would 2 " spacers stick out ??>
Jeff, big fan of your vids.
Do you have a link for the mud flaps??
Thanks.
What percent of tints do you have on your windows? Do you get pull over a lot for that?
19x11 is the perfect fitment
Is that stock height or have you lowered it? Looks great!
bdawg7693 It's lowered with BMR SP080 springs.
Are these wheel spacers available? Who makes them? I checked the link you provided and there isn't anything on it
So no need to cut the studs for 23mm spacers?
Love the videos, I have 2017 gt vert with the stock 20's. Will 25 mm spacers look good on front and rear
Where did you get your center caps I want to buy the am replica pp wheels but I was wondering if you can use your stock center caps
Jeff; You have an excellent video series going on here. I am subscribed.
2017 GT P PP (2015 GT P PP - RIP)
Did you have 19x10s set up for all four corners or just in the rear?
hey i have the EU mustang the 23mm work with the PP package rims ? because i had read the 20mm spacers doesn't work with the eu model
thanks
I know this is 5 years ago but the term wheel spacer is incorrect those you have on your car are wheel apadters, the difference between a wheel spacer and adapter is wheel spacers are a thin piece of metal / aluminum and are without studs, adapters are hub centric and have studs on them that bolt onto the the hub then you bolt your wheels onto them that is the difference. Hey Jeff, you think you could fit a 305/35/20 in the rear? On 20's? On an s550 :P
love the videos, keep them coming.
division watch thank you, I will! 👍👍
hello Jeff quick question can I fit 305s on my rear stock performance wheels ?
Good video once again Jeff.... that Magnetic Vert though....
Concrete GT haha it's got your name on it!
what is the size of the front whell?, 8.5 or 9" ? and 265 or 275?
..very good contribution. Thank you and greetings from Germany. Michael
I have rock guards on my car, I show them in the video. :)
Yes, but you have them in the rear part of the fender. I'm referring to the front part of the fender. Where the door meets with the fender or where the side skirt ends.
MustafaGT gotcha, I have no paint chips in that area.
Are you running the 19x10 in a square setup?
Do these pp replicas need hubcentric rings without running spacers?
Hey jeff, what lowering springs do you have on this car?
Perfect set up man!!!
How many ft. lbs. did you torque spacers?
Hey man! Awesome video!
Do you know the weight for this wheel with and without tire?
Thanks
What's your window tint set up lol,I just got my 2017 gt and need tint asap
Angel W0t surprising legal haha. It's 30% front 20% on the quarter/back window.
dope
also, what do you record with dang man
what exhaust set up do you have. that is exactly what I'm looking for
MrVroom15 Corsa Xtreme Catback. 👍
awesome video
Did you torque the nuts on the spacer to 150pounds as you would the rim also?
I dont know if this guy did but i would have.
Where can I get the 23mm spacers? Thamks
Doesnt putting spacer add more stress to your suspension?
Isnt thats the reason discount wont do spacers or anything?
Spensar yes, there will be a little more stress on the suspension components but the trade off is better looks and improved handling.

+Jeff Ashton great, thank you
Jeff Ashton is your mustang lowered at all or is that stock height?
+Tyler Vachon I'm on BMR springs. I have them in stock through Ashton Performance if you are interested in a set.
Jeff becouse of you i sold my CLS Merc and bought Mustang GT! :))
Jeff what is that convertible in this video?
Damn that looks amazing. Goals lol also, what camera are you using!? Wow that’s crisp lol
Regards!
Where did you order the mud flaps and whats the part number?
DerekBaranProductions has tried the headbutt transitions instead of the hand smack LOL- BTW he is back to hand smacking.
I swear it's going to break one day! :-P
If I did a headbutt either the camera or myself wouldn't make it out alive haha. :P
Could you move the rear to front , then run the 305's on rear?
cold022 definitely could, the 275 would look good up front too!
I thought you said you didn't what to supercharge your mustang gt. That procharged mustang you review left you wanting more huh
BigOG TT haha, I said that I shouldn't! 😂
Love your mustang and your videos. My grandfather had a 1965 mustang and my dad 2 when i was a kid. Imma get one eventually when i graduate college
BigOG TT thanks man, I appreciate you watching the videos. You should definitely pick one up when the time is right! What year would get?
Well hopely when i get my career in the major that i am doing and i am only 20 years old
But i am definitely set on getting the 5.0
Check out Jeff's comments @3:48 and again @8:23, and then watch his later video about slamming this car into a guard rail. Wow, I wonder how that happened???
any worry about effect to bearing or suspension.
there will be a little more stress on the suspension components but the trade off is better looks and improved handling.
what size rim do you have on the rears?
anyone know which spacer size for stock GT Performance package 9 and 9.5x19'?
