Remember being at Wembley stadium to watch them beat Oxford United in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Final and crying at the final whistle! It's been a difficult time supporting Coventry over the years and that glimpse of achieving something gave me a feeling that was, up to that point, unrivalled in all my years watching football! Now, 2 promotions later, a chance to dream of the Premier League - even if the result didn't go our way on the day - and now a fully deserved FA Cup semi final with Manchester United after a spine-tingling victory against Premier League Wolves... It is safe to say that you are right, it is indeed a great time to be a Coventry City fan! 🩵🩵🩵
Great boss a new owner who wants success and fans who are there every week singing there hearts out , enough of the bad times , onwards and upwards
Facts.. Not many people mention the new owner and how he has helped the club achieve.. Since Robins and King took over we finally have a club that are there for the fans.

Despite being a Londoner, I've followed Coventry since the Jimmy Hill days, my favourite-ever player being Tommy Hutchinson. They're certainly 'on-the-up' at present with promotion to the top flight a real possibility this season. As for the FA Cup semi-final, Man Utd. are obviously better on paper, but we have a superior team spirit, which may just see us through. Judging by the teams drawn so far, luck would appear to be with us.

Great but not the greatest. I supported Coventry in the 1960s when we were managed by Jimmy Hill. We won the 3rd division Championship followed by the 2nd division Championship, winning our way to the top division (by beating Wolves). We had a fantastic team back then. And we stayed in the top division for over 30 years.

Coventry DID have a 15% sell-on clause in Gyokeres' sale contract to Sporting. But this dropped to 10% after he reached pre-agreed targets for goals/appearances for the Portuguese team.
But 10% of €100m is still a nice chunk of money. 😁

You must also take into account the fight the club had to endure with their previous owners SISU who took over the club simply to try and get the stadium for the land it was built on, multiple court cases, multiple fights with the council, they tried to put a charity into administration, they moved the club to sixfields in northampton and st andrews in birmingham, we were homeless, were deducted multiple points in multiple seasons for financial issues, were put into administration twice and were looking at liquidation in the face.
Robins and his backroom staff are simply incredible and the future finally looks bright with our new owner Doug King actually caring about the club.
We still don't own a ground but have a good relationship with frazer group at the moment. Doug King has plans to build a new stadium in the next 5 years.
How no one has made a movie about our saga is puzzling.
