I think London Wasps used to play in the Ricoh, before liquidation. Bromley of course newly promoted in the football league for the first time. A lad that I went to school with was on loan there at the start of his career.

In some cases though it's deserved. A team in the North West that's not called Liverpool or man utd have it far more difficult than a far smaller supported team based in London in terms of financial backing. Likewise in Italy with northern and Southern teams.
