You sir are not only a master at your craft, but a master educator as well. As others have said - if only more UA-cam videos were this well thought out and done. I didn't really even have an interest in this particular how to video (it started playing by itself after a different video) but your teaching method made me stop what I was doing and watch the entire video. Very, very well done.
Thank you so very much. Your instruction was clear, concise and the very thing I, as a self taught artist, have been searching for a long time! Thank you, again. God Bless!!!
A super video for those us just getting started.I am a retired math teacher and I can say you teach in a relaxed manner which makes me feel more relaxed about being able to cut glass. A+ for sure. Thanks
Oh that's a great explanation but not many of us can draw a line so smoothly as you can with your masterful steady hand. I'm extremely impressed. I've been cutting glass for 20 years for projects that I edge and you make it seem so easy.
Brilliant, thank you. I’m at the very beginning of my glass cutting ‘journey’ and have been trying to teach myself. Unfortunately I haven’t had much success (!) but after watching this I feel very optimistic that I can at least get the basics right now. Much appreciated.
Wow. You are a natural teacher, how clear and encouraging.. I’ve winged it enough with barely acceptable hit n. It’s over the years but this is so much better,, thank you . And you show the tools really clearly ..
Definitely the most challenging step of creating s. glass. If one does not know these tips, one will spend too much time on the grinder. 😂 Excellent and necessary info. Thanks...
Excellent video. Outlined properly. No frivolous chatting all if your thoughts during the recording. Excellent things to remember... great use of numbered points, orderly. I wish everybody on UA-cam would follow these steps for How-to videos.
Thank you very much for this information. I am new to glass working and found your video to be just what I was looking for! You did a great job explaining the shape cutting process for me.
Sir, You are an excellent teacher. Your short video is one of the best I have seen. I do many different types of things and watched many vids. WELL DONE and Thanks
Thank you! I've been trying to cut some thin glass plates, and it hasn't been going as smoothly as I'd like. Now I have a better understanding of the principles.
This is incredible. I broke 4 pains trying to cut them to fit my greenhouse and he's snapping glass is half circle's with little effort. What a skill. Great upload thank you for sharing 👍🍀😁
If you get cut with class dog nyam yuh supper. Use gloves, eyewear and other protection. We are watching an expert and he knows how to judge the result of each action.
Excellent instruction. This is exactly what I needed to see. I do mosaic for a fun hobby, but I still want it to be really nice. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Outstanding - I was able to watch this a couple of times before trying it on my own... with success! Thanks for posting such a great and informative video :)
Good tutorial. Retired glazier gives thumbs up. Deaf people need not score? Never thought of that, but kinda true. They'd have a bigger learning curve, for certain.
I didn't think I would need to learn how to cut glass until this weekend. I was moving a secretary that belongs to my mother and ended up breaking the glass in one of the doors. The catch is that the corners of the glass are rounded. No worries any longer thanks to Dru!
I’ve never known how much pressure or where to put my hands to make my glass break. After a couple attempts I gave up trying. I love your video and will try again. If I can finish my backsplash it will be because of your video Tysm!
Thanks for uploading, I don't have any special pliers, I always used a laser or machine guided with special diamond bits. I recently got some handheld cutters and wasn't sure how to use the notches/wheel etc. So thanks for the tips... Most people think the harder something is, the more pressure and sharper it needs to be. When something is harder, it can break or shatter more easily such as tempered. Tempered glass is stronger and won't break as easily for sure, or in as sharp tiny pieces. It has different challenges in my experience. Its basically the same and i just go slower and score of the glass more.
Just watching this man in action I'm thinking... "That guy makes this look so easy and obvious that it's clearly nowhere near that easy and obvious." Nothing like watching a master craftsman at work. Thanks for the video!
he makes it look so easy...because he knows exactly what he is doing , lovely explanation i might try it somedayeverything makes sense the way he explains it.
i have plan to cut the glasses almost 2meter shape line. and worry about that. luckyly i meet this video. you are the best teacher on glass cutting. appreciate!

Absolutely superb - if only all UA-cam videos were this good. A rare golden needle in a haystack of mediocrity - thank you!
Thanks for the kind words Tim. I am glad you found it helpful.
