I’m 29 and starting my first sales job with Chevrolet. I love #3. I’ll continue to watch for more tips. Very educational. Thank you!
thanks so much for watching glad the videos are helping you !
Tip 3 is KEY! I ALWAYS try get my customers laughing and make it humorous. If you can make them laugh, you can sell them a car.
I agree lightens the mood a bit
Bro the shutup is what I do every time. I’ve sat once for 8 minutes straight in silence. I’ve never lost against that. I mean not saying they’ve agreed to the payment every time but I’ve never talked first I will sit there for half an hour if that’s what it will take
lol love it buddy glad its working for you!
I like the sold sign with the picture close. Never tried it yet but will tomorrow

Worked bell to bell for 3 months straight

#6 is my favorite to use!
awesome glad we use the same tools
"How she ride? She ridin purdy?"
"So what'd you name of the newest member of your family?"
I really liked the "When were you thinking of having your car in your driveway?"
those are good questions to ask. thanks for watching the video
I was surprised that you did not mention spotting the car to avoid them changing their mind about the purchase or visiting another dealer to see if they can get a better deal. (aka striking while the iron is hot).
Spotting the car ?
@@carsunlocked Delivering the car the same day as purchased usually within a couple of hours. Spotting is a common term in USA dealerships. Dealers usually want to deliver the car before the customer has the chance to change their mind or look elsewhere.
How do you know what to pitch like the free oil changes and all that is there a limit or?
Youll have to ask your sales manager however they shouldn't be upset of u offwr a few oil changes to close a deal
Great tips. Tip #3 it is!
Glad it was helpful!
Comment which tip you feel is most valuable???
They are all good, but last one will give you a clue if they are buying today or soon... thanks for the video!
In regards to the incentive offer such as free oil changes or a gift card. I am kind of assuming that you arranged in advance with your sales manager to agree to that? Is it in a case by case basis or do you have the authority to offer that on an deal if you feel it is needed to push things along?
Your dealership pays off gross? I wonder how many units you sell per month. I’m new to the industry
hey johnny yes they do I actually work both roles sales and finance manager so its tough to get huge numbers i average about 10-15 cars per month
Selling a car with zero down is down right criminal 😅
got that right
I attended an interview an hour ago and the manager asked exactly this question " how are you gonna close the sale " I wish l saw this video.
I only gave the discounted offer but l could have given more examples..l guess l failed the interview.
shoot keep going my friend!
"You can take your new car home with you today". After driving the new car going back to their old car is kind of depressing.
You can tell by the comments that there’s a lot of green peas here. MOST of these are extremely weak. ANYONE can close a weak commitment, it takes A LOT to close them on the numbers that will make YOU MONEY. Selling the car is easy, making gross isnt..
thanks for the input
Other Questions you can ask
1.) What kind of payment option you want to go with ?
2.) Is the ownership going under one or multiple names ?
Great questions my friend
The up-selling close:
Are you taking the winter tires with your new car?
ohhh yea thats a great one my dude!
@@carsunlocked With motorcycle the spring fever is everything and a motorcycle prep is very fast so you can put a sens of emergency in it by hasking if he would like to make his friend jealous by tomorrow at the pub.
Why do you do biweekly instead of monthly?
thanks for asking when it's biweekly you make 26 payments per year vs 12 monthly payments so by weekly will always be a lower number
@@carsunlocked unfortunately our dealer does only monthly finance options. Would be so nice to quote people bi weekly payments
@@carsunlocked Most people are paid every (2) weeks or twice per month. Quoting a lower amount makes the purchase more affordable.
When do you think you will have your car in your drive way😅,,,😂,, me I already have a car in the drive way ,,, Me - when are you expecting your commission check?
lol im sharing the information that I found that works sorry you find it laughable sir hope your sales person gives you a good deal
Why do you quote bi-weekly payments? Is that a sales strategy or just how payments are done where you are?
90% of Canadians get paid bi weekly so it just is easier for them to budget. from a sales perspective that biweekly payment will always appear cheaper then the monthly
@@carsunlocked thanks! never thought about that
@@streetspeed2522 happy selling
It’s all PSYCHOLOGICAL.
theres a lot of psychology behind it
Number one have customers that actually have money to buy a car and want one! Lol you can be the best but if that guy has shit credit ur fucked haha I know if I want a car I dont need you to pull does tactics I will buy the car from a dog
thanks for all the comments my friend
You saying “ what are you going to name your new car” is a turn off for me,, an eye roll really … ..by the way nothing is free,,, I don’t want to be quoted payments,, I need you to tell me what the off the lot price is
for you 1 millionnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn dollars
As a customer I ask for the monthly OTD payment. It makes the negotiation a lot easier (at least until the F&I person takes over).
how . how does somebody have bigger eyes than mine .
might be the camera
No bank finances a bi weekly payment. What is he talking about? Does he work at a buy here pay here lot with poor credit customers? I would leave if a sales person asked me about bi weekly payments.
Dude every single bank does biweekly are you nuts.
@carsunlocked I guess I'm mistaken. But I stand by my other point. I cant imagine anyone with good credit making bi weekly payments on a vehicle. I've sold cars and also been the consumer. Sounds like things have changed over the years.
I still can't imagine anyone with excellent credit making bi weekly payments. It just sounds like a way for a salesman to make the payments sound less than they really are and trying to be shady and I stand my my comment of I would leave if someone tried to pull that on me. All I want is to be treated with respect when I buy a car not as a payday to the salesman. You know 2 different people can buy the exact same car on the same day and pay 2 different prices. It's just ridiculous to me. That's why I left car sales. It bothered my conscience. Have a nice day. I learned something new about the bi weekly, we never saw that in 10 years
Bi weekly payment is geared to a younger generation. Older ppl get paid monthly whereas younger ppl get paid biweekly. Most businesses are moving to bi weekly. I’ve seen gym memberships do this even.
If they ask for the price your supposed to say "If you have to ask, you can't afford it."
I would not recommend that
