    Hi, thanks for sharing. For the UK purposes however, you should build a wall with visible lintel above the windows, as any opening requires support and the weight should not sit on the window frame (Building Regulations Part A and BS EN 845 - 2 : 2003). There may be metal lintel above the window but it is not visible in the video. This will prevent cracks running from the corners of the windows sooner or later...

      in germany you put a ringanker above the window (actually around the entire building at this level) It is made of U shaped AAC blocks which you then build rebar frame inside and then fill with concrete. super strong. normally german windows have built in rolladen for security and sun protection in summer. see www.ais-online.de/media/65665/images/17119859px957x636.jpg

    Why do you make blpcks, why not cast an entire wall in place?

      This is just one way to build. This material has a good thermal resistance, it is good thermo mass, easy to process. In the winter, the house is warm and cool in the summer. The material will be obtained in a special industrial process - autoclaved aerated concrete. A lot of sealed air bubbles in the wall.

    You keep saying that you use glue but I don't see any glue is this a language barrier or I just missed it thanks again love your work

      In the US it's called thinset mortar. Glue comes from bones and hides.

    The molds , good molds like those are the key! They are what I'm missing. Do you sell molds?

    What country are you in and can those texoblocks be shipping to the US? Do you know if they sell molds for them?

      this is in Europ- aerock, yotng,H+H.
      in Us look for "Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) " www.hebel-usa.com/en/docs/flash/3_Masonry_Components.pdf
      accurately blocks Sticking with glue

      Thank you for the reply.
      I have seen Ytong, Btong (Vietnam) AEROC ( Russia)
      Texoblock.lv, Roclite, etc.
      Awesome sustenance!!
      And Xtella that did make them in the US, pulled out a few years ago.
      There is just too much opposition from banking, insurance, building industries to allow familes to live in houses that are fireproof, safe, and inexpensive. Bummee....

      LOL.
      I mentioned Xella and that was the pdf you gave.
      I will try to contact them, but I heard they left the US market. Maybe they made the Ytong line and drooped it, dunno. Thanks again.

    do you use ordinary cement mortar, or something else?

    • @marisbuildsahouse4304
      @marisbuildsahouse4304  6 років тому +1

      I use a special adhesive, which can be put 1-2mm, because the blocks are very precise.
      Bauroc EASYFIX PU-glue is a one-component polyurethane glue for building non -load bearing walls from bauroc partition wall plates or bauroc blocks. is suitable for use as an alternative to mineral THIN. JOINT MORTAR. The advantages of bauroc EASYFIX are cleaner and more convenient work and a faster speed.

      So I'm hearing that you use the adhesive because it is thinner and easier to use than mortar. Probably more expensive, though?

    • @marisbuildsahouse4304
      @marisbuildsahouse4304  6 років тому

      is expensive as a cement mortar, but with glue it will work more easily and we will get an ideal thermo isolation. if you buy ready-made cement mortar bags then do not stick with glue more expensive. with glue consumption 1-2mm - 25 kg bag 6.5 euros

    PSI?
    Nothing in this video matters without knowing what the PSI is of the concrete you are using.

      400 kg / m³, can be built on 2.5 floors and 2.5 N / mm2. Comparative soft and porous material with closed air cells. Different density, hardness variants are possible.
