16:20 the robe being folded up next to the door is merely an engine limitation. Its entirely possible theres an element of unreliabke narrator at play, but i doubt the modelers were going to make a "hastily discarded robe" for a silly quest. Who knows?
Maybe the robe became neatly folded through sheer force of will and mantled its prophesied destiny....
This is vvardenfel, after all.

I'm loving Sally's fighting style so much 😂
Fair magicka regen is fair imo. With ashfall set to rest only in bed, you can't just regen in the wild between encounters. Regen lets you do so with just wait function. Character not speced into magic, regens like two points per hour. It's nothing like skyrim, when you run away for ten seconds and return with full bar. Maxed out wil gives you like point every second but almost stops in combat so you still have to relay on potions for enconters, but can cast travel spells and buffs without woring of wasting resources.
I tried to do seven graces in similar playthrough. Just staff instead of fists. Brought that pilgrim on the timer with me. Game decided to spawn ash slave right behind the Ghost Fence, I tried to kill for several hours to no avail. I joined on the mainland and returned to Vvardenfell only above level 20.
Sally's questing for the Temple is quite enjoyable. I really like the Temple questline. I think maybe the knights of the Nine quest sort of gave Oblivion something quasi-analogous with respect to the Divines religion.

One Punch Sally... well... many punches.
Hand to Hand is always a funny skill. It levels up incredibly quickly due to the amount of hits required for a kill. So while it seems useless to start, within a short amount of time the skill will be high level and everything will be stun locked. You also don't have to care about stuff like weight, durability, or material quality for undead and daedra. The true way to lazy play the game without requiring any exploits. Makes for a funny character build of an ancient wizard so masterful in the magic arts that they are bored so they just punch things.
This make me want to do a Hand to Hand playthrough myself, but just started one already to try out the updated Arvesa mod.
I've picked up some Sigmar books and really liked them. The stoicism in Realm-Lords came at a bad time for me and was desperately needed. I particularly enjoyed that one.
Hackle-lo is closer to khat than tobacco, and it's used (in vanilla) to make nice healing + fortify potions. I think in rebirth it was nerfed.
Honestly I think you’d love Elder Kings. It has really good roleplay opporunities. I have some of my most fun playthroughs of ck3 in EK. And if you want a more historical mod Bronze Age mod rereleased!
When you join the Temple on the mainland, ie, Androthen, you do 3 quests, or they accept the 7 Graces quests also.
When ii played ESO, i loved Vvardenfell, i had ALOT of guar mounts in the game also lots of cats for pets :)
I'm surprised Dave doesn't know the "Miles" in Miles Gloriosus is pronounced "Mee-les", not "Miles". Miles Gloriosus (literally Boastful Soldier) is a fairly well-known stock character in classical Roman theatre.
Not just a stock character, it's also the title of a play by Plautus, based on the equivalent stock character from Greek comedy. In the play , the miles gloriosus is actually the main character, Pyrgopolynices, whose name literally means "much-victorious tower," except "πύργος" can also mean a military column or a siege tower... Except it can also mean "women's quarters," which, given ancient Roman opinions on women, is a pretty nice bit of punnery.
I don't know if it's just me or what, but you sound legit muffled in this one. It's not quieter, it sounds very different.
EDIT: 1:38:45 That's how I feel about so much. I get that people like Dark Souls... but everything doesn't need to be Dark Souls. Or even "Souls hard". It's why I find that one G.A.M.M.A. meme about "true S.T.A.L.K.E.R. fans" so on point. Anomaly and G.A.M.M.A. aren't S.T.A.L.K.E.R., they're amazing feats of modding that wear S.T.A.L.K.E.R.'s skin like a suit.

I'd love an Elder Kings game, if only so I can learn how to play crusader kings. I learned the basics of xenonauts watching you so I'd love to do the same with Crusader Kings hahaha
I like that wearing the ash goggles mostly removed the animation for protecting your eyes.
