Ya I think it does actually. I had watched lots of videos and everyone recommended the cloud lifter and so I got it. It seemed to help but then rode actually commented on a video and said I didn’t need it so I tried it out and ot worked! Just had the settings wrong
If you use the PROCASTER II DO NOT use a cloudlifter for mics. It will ruin your audio as the procaster II has built in REVOLUTION PREAMPS. The built in preamps will fight with the cloudlifter causing all sorts of noise and nasty sound.
Great video, but it might have been helpful to have more actual videos of the podcast studio in the video. You describe it but we hardly see it! Thanks though.
Hey! Thank you I’m glad you liked it! Yes I got them off Amazon actually. There’s a link in this video to my Amazon store and I have the exact tiles linked in there. It’s in office setup tab!
I’m in the process right now which is how I found this channel. I currently have a t8i and a 90d. I have lights but Ann figuring out how to set it all up as well as camera settings for best look.
Thanks for the tips Josh! Just a tip for everyone, the new Rodecaster Pro 2 has built in amp so you don't need a cloudlifter for the Shure SM7B.
Yes! Thank you! I’m gonna pin this
Sick brotha looks insane
Thank you!!! Ya it turned out so sick
Great set and walk through!
Thank you! Hope it was helpful!
Thanks man. I'm building a podcast studio in Siberia, and this is a useful video for me 👍👍👍
Hey dude! I’m glad it helped you out! Good luck building out the studio! Let me know if you have any questions!
Dude found you from TikTok. Super helpful video. Audio is one of the most challenging parts for us!
Whats up bro!!! Audio is the hardest part by far!
Hey Awesome setup! Why cloud lifter? The rodecastor pro doesnt solve that boost issue?

You’re absolutely right. Sorry about that!
i aspire to build a set this good
You’ll do it 100%!
Nice work Josh! I am curious where you sourced the wave wall treatments behind you in the video?

Liked the video and the tips. Looks great sounds even better. But I think that's not for beginners, that's for pros.
I mean if I said it was for beginners then for sure this would be way to complex :)
@@joshmillerdp But you did, still love the video
Are you happy with the wooden sound panels in the background?
Yes completely! They are so nice
Have you ever setup a podcast room yourself?
Not yet! Just working on general audio for videos in different locations. I think I need that cloud booster for my Rode Podmic
@@Drewdoode getting good audio is so crucial! have you ever used moving blankets in a location for sound?
I'm looking to - your studio is a beauty well done! I'm going to draw inspiration from this.
