Earl Weaver was about 80 years old back in the 1970's. He was the manager of the Orioles and was a beast when he got pissed off. Some of his and Billy Martin's ejections were legendary.

I enjoyed seeing Lloyd McClenddon playing in Venezuelan winter league in the 80's, he always was a tough competitor, a mad dog in every play and people loved him or hated him.
Lloyd McClendon was one hell of a baseball player, could play ever position except pitcher on the field at a excellent level. Saw him catch a game for the Cubs.
The best managerial ejection I ever saw (in person too) was Earl Weaver vs. the Yankees. An Oriole was called out at second. Earl came charging out for the confrontation. A fan in the stands yelled, “Get back to the dugout, ya fuckin’ runt!” Earl flips his cap around so he can peck at the umpire. He then SITS DOWN on second base. The ump had no choice but to run him. So Earl let’s loose and, eventually, the ump turns and goes to brush off home plate with his back towards second. Earl makes a beeline for him like he was going to kick him in the ass. Instead, the moment the ump was through, Earl kicks dirt all over the dish. Priceless. Even Lou Pinella can’t top that one.

That's the charm of baseball. The brawls, the histrionics, and yes even the cheating. If it's scuffed balls, or pine tar on the bats. No other sport can touch a nerve like baseball.
I see no brawls, just guys in kissing distance spitting all over eachother. It's a cute show. Guys not willing to fight pretending they are going to do something... sounds about right for a girl's sport like baseball.
It's people willing to do absolutely, wonderfully crazy things for a child's game which is what makes it so good. The story lines practically write themselves.
Lou Panella: One of the last of the Old School managers!! Loved it when they kicked dirt on the Ump’s pants!! Another Cub’s manager, Don Zimmer used to do that too!!😆😂🤣😆
All time??? Hardly. Let's just ignore the prior 70-80 years of televised baseball. Earl Weaver and Billy Martin probably have several ejections better than every one on this list combined. Why not just say of the last 15 years?
I have a friend who is an umpire. He tells a story about making a close call and the coach came running out and got in his face and said “that was a great call, give me 30 seconds to throw a fit and throw me out”. My umpire friend said to the coach “throw your hat”, and then the coach said “run me” - it was all a show
Of all time? Maybe of all YOUR time. Billy Martin, Earl Weaver, and more. Expand your frame of reference. Such as Martin throwing dirt on the umpire. You missed a gang of history.
Does anyone else realize that the first ejection ( 0:06 ) is very similar to the Yankees Aaron Boone ejection during the White Sox game? Both times the umpire was Laz Diaz and both times the fight started after a strike call on a Yankees player wearing the number 11! The Announcers also mention both times about them "getting their money's worth", but almost every announcer says that.
Is it just me or is it really funny when coaches and umps are yelling at each other and then another ump walks over and just watches it calmly right next to them. Especially when the coaches are making a scene
Honestly even as an angels fan that first clip, it was an iffy call at best. May be personally biased, but it crossed the strike zone and ended up in ball zone. It's a great frame.
I miss Joe G. On the Yankees. He gave it all for the team. But Gary Sanchez didn’t like getting yelled at, so Joe was gone. Now Yanks have that idiot Boone. I guess three rings as a player and one as a manager doesn’t matter when a lazy Millenial catcher’s feelings are hurt.
I mean can we just take a moment to realize that the commentators of all people who don’t even play the sport get the biggest kick out of managers throwing tantrums. “Might as well hear everybody out, get your money’s worth times 10………EVERYBODYS GETTIN A PIECE!!!!”
