@@SKY-pw5ud may she rest in peace, knowing she was loved, inspiring, and just overall a sweet person. I do truly hope her art will continue to inspire. ♡
Dina's brushes are great and I think we should still celebrate her and her art 💜 That little frog doodle is so cute! Thanks for sharing how you work with the brushes, I really like the texture you achieved. I'm impressed with how fast you made it look finished! I always get new brushes when I'm demotivated so it might be time to fold and actually get the max packs.
Oh no ;; This is how I found out about Dina-- I knew she had been battling cancer for a while now, but I just had assumed she took some time offline to heal ;;
I found out via a short on her channel. She was a wonderful beautiful human. The short is on her channel. I don’t have instagram and appreciate that her family was able to inform us. She was a friendly Art friend, although I did not know her personally I spent many hours making art with her on YT 💕💕 May she Rest In Peace
I may have run out and purchased several Max Packs and Dina's brushes immediately after watching this video. They're so satisfying to work with! I've been burned out on digital painting in photoshop after finishing my degree, but these brushes are so naturalistic and playful that it's hard to not have fun with them :D
I did not know Dina had passed. I had been thinking abut her the last few days as I was catching up on the art pages of UA-camrs I enjoyed after a long way away from them. I'm so sorry to hear that. Thank you for this video. I am hoping to get back into creating art.
I was looking for something like this for a while! I’m new to digital art and even though I’ve been drawing most of my life I have never really “learned”, these brushes look great :)
Dina Norlund - She was a beloved member of the art community! She was also one of my biggest inspirations at the time, and I've collabed with her in the past. Her art is incredible, I suggest you look her up
I also use MaxPacks and Dina’s brushes too! I use Max’s watercolor, gouache and retro packs (alongside one from his comics pack - the mechanical pencil for sketching) and primarily use Dina’s B pencil for some heavier sketching as well. These packs are amazing and I’m glad to learn that you use them too!
$12 is nothing compared to Abobe products that are $10 per month continuously. But there are also other free software right now like Affinity Designer (6 month trial) and Clip Studio Paint (3 month trial).
Dang. I don't go in Instagram often. But didn't realize Dina had passed. 😢I feel bad for not knowing. :c
😢😢😢 me too.
I like her work and brushes too….

I don't use procreate but this looks like it's really helpful! It's amazing that your school was able to provide ipads for you all ❤
It was a fun day when they handed them out to us all!

I wish Max did more videos on UA-cam. I have the watercolour pack too. It is amazing. I want to get the gouache pack next. Thank you for sharing.
I use to have a hair and fur brush in procreate preinstalled and now it's not there
This was so helpful, thank you! I love the way you use textures 😊
I'm glad it was helpful for you!
I really like the retro brushes.
Me too, they're great!
Have you tried the Paperlike on your screen? Could you please link the pencil cover, or is it just called a silicone pencil cover? x Nell
I use reading the title I thought mom used brushes 😭💀
Amazing video thank you! Just purchased Dina’s brushes but super sad to hear the news about her :(.
Yeah it's very sad - but at least we can still use her brushes to make beautiful artwork for years to come 💜

Is procreate one of the best art apps?❤
Yes
I LOVED this video it was super helpful! I love my max pack brushes but there unfortunately aren’t a lot of resources for learning how to use them
