Awesome Warrior brother, enjoy it! I just bought an 04 with a locked up engine. After 17 years of ripping, the connecting rod bearing went out and locked everything up. The rod bent in two places but it didn't break, and the cases are undamaged. I'm excited to rebuild the engine and get another ~20 years out of it! The Warriors have a timeless look that will never go out of style.
I've had a 2002 limited edition Yamaha warrior for over ten year now. It's not running but I'm just getting time to rebuild the whole thing and see how that will take me. Maybe take me a while now there is a few changed parts on that thing but I'm sure I will get it running someday. First quad ever owned and it is the best quad out there torque bottom end and 5 valves for a single carburetor that is something good to ride.
That's beautiful a lot cleaner than my 98. You don't have to be in neutral to engage reverse though, it'll work in any gear. Mine sat for 17 years in my grandpa's garage and we finally dug it out this year. Started up immediately like I had just ran it and I'm riding it every day.
Bro I literally JUST made a deal on an 03 Warrior and it’s also in mint condition and obviously garage kept. I mean it has a few scratches on the front fenders but holy moly it’s freaking CLEEEAAAN!!! And me too bro I couldn’t stop smiling and even hugged the elder owners who sold it to me! 😂
I have 2, 2002 that I am maybe going to sell. Same condition as this one, long story on why they are in such good condition, but one of them I bought from my father and has less than 50 hours on it.
I bought it this way. Original owner kept it in a climate controlled garage since day 1. If you want to get rid of rust. Just get the frame sand blasted and powder coat it with some fresh paint. Or you can sand it by hand and get Rust-Oleum paint from Autozone 👍🏻
Reverse in any gear is correct. It just makes sense sometimes to get it into neutral prior to reverse, If in a high gear prior to reverse, you still have to get it back into 1st to get going again
Badass I had the same quad identical one of the best quads made now I have a Yamaha Raptor 660R Yamaha 600 twin snowmobile engine and a Yamaha Moto 4 350
So my warrior makes this chattering sound I've heard they all make the noise whys that? The one I currently got is bored out to a 380 I need new gasket for timing chain cover bc its leaking oil from it, and also I need new front and back tires
@@BraapEffex could be but I got it from this dude he seemed like he fucked it up and gave it hell so I want to get it fully rebuilt but when I checked the mark on the timing chain was a little off and my dad threw in 5w20 in my warrior it takes 10w40 so that could also be possibly messing with it idk tho the knocking is somewhere in the jug or near it
Yeah, prices have definitely shot up. I paid $2,200 for my 2000 Warrior this past April 1st after finding it on FB marketplace. Mine is nice, but not as nice as the one in the video. When I met the guy to buy mine, he said another buyer guy messaged him offering $2,500 to back out on me and sell it to him instead. Just goes to show you how out-of-control the market is right now.
If you know what you're doing these things can be quick. I port heads& do motor work in my area. These motors are very temperamental. I can get them to go over 8000 RPM. Way more exciting and fun compared to the 5700 RPM the all-stock warrior has

You did not happen to just sell it did you?
How do you have no rust, how did you get rid of the rust?

Why not atleast rip it for us one time I hate these look how pretty my trailer queen is videos. Lol they useless if you dont use them
So my warrior makes this chattering sound I've heard they all make the noise whys that?

Chattering when its running or when you turn it off or start it up? The starter motor is noisy on these Warrior 350's
@@BraapEffex it chatters at idle
@@Atc250sx got ya, I'm not sure. Could be a timing chain making noise.
@@Atc250sx or if tapping noise might need valve adjustment.

I see one in my area for sale at $3000🤔

Thinking about buying one and having it as a spare quad .
just a hot cam oil cooler and pipe away from being perfect and 2inch spacers make a big difference
Wanna sale?
