A New Holland Self-Propelled FX 48 6 Row Corn Chopper makes quick work in a field just Southeast of Arthur Illinois. The corn crop is very heavy and fills plastic bags really fast.

I saw that to. I agree, the tractor should have waited in the field for the other one to get off the road and bring the wagon to the chopper faster. Some people run their crew differently

Ernie when was this filmed? I mainly ask because I just saw that the Pontiac Thresheree has been cancelled because of very wet grounds. I realize Pontiac is not near Arthur but am curious about the rain fall in your area this summer. Thanks as always for posting.

to me it lookd say at 5:10 and several times later in the video he took 6 rows.
i guess at the beginning he was just cleaning up the round corners of the field.
fields arent always square. hehe

for ground speed, if your loading trucks you want a little higher ground speed, smaller headder the faster you can go to a point
