Outsmart them all... put the extra $20 into your TSP, and let it grow. That will show them! In 30 years you'll be able to pay for those groceries AND have the 12 pack!

First of all, why do people think they should be rich serving in the Military? Obviously it isn’t meant for that. You want to get rich you’ll need to find a side hustle and become rich. I’m 19 years old about to visit a recruiter for an Air Force position and been working out lately for basic training. I know military ain’t gonna make me rich but it’ll provide enough money for my pockets and a place to live and with the tiny money they give me I’ll invest it in buying assets such as getting your damn car and house whilst working your butt off to get there. I’m joining mainly for the experience and hardship because although the military pay isn’t very good, their training is something that is basically priceless! I’m excited and America’s younger generation can rise if they stop focusing on money all the time!
I want the 19.5% pay hike. They can keep the 20 dollars. What a joke.
If Congress really wanted to help out soldiers and just Americans in general instead of giving us money, they would put in stricter price gouging laws a bunch of major food companies have had record profits every single year since 2020
And stop sending it to Ukraine!

If a country has a hostile relationship with you or your allies: you back their opponent in a war. It's just common sense.

My 50% disability payment is equal to 5 months pay when I enlisted 50 years ago. I would still like to see soldgers get s pay rsise. $20 per month is an insult. Troopers put their lives and bodies on the line for a penance. Start st $100 per month rsise and keep going up.
