Just as the sufferings of our Lord, Jesus will draw us closer to him if we especially meditate daily or when in doubt…
Our own personal sufferings will bring our Lord Jesus closer to us. And I know this from experience and 18 years of suffering with MS.

Jesus hands were not pierced, his wrist were pierced, Only the wrist can support the body weight .

The Greeks used the word hand to describe from the wrist towards the fingertips, there is no Greek word for wrist. So it would make sense that he says hand. According to scripture.
