Welcome to the world of e-MTBs. Today, we'll take a closer look at the Husqvarna Hard Cross, a powerful and versatile electric mountain bike that's built to conquer any trail.
The Husqvarna Hard Cross comes in five different configurations, each designed to deliver an exceptional riding experience. Its robust and refined alloy frame features a mullet setup and high-travel suspension, ensuring excellent performance on rough terrain.
At the top of the range is the HC5, equipped with top-of-the-line components that you'd expect from a Husqvarna E-Bicycle. It boasts FOX suspension, including the Float 38 Factory Grip 2 fork and the Float X2 Factory rear shock. The 12-speed Shimano XTR drivetrain provides precise and reliable shifting. The braking power is delivered by Shimano XT brakes with 4-piston calipers and 220mm and 203mm rotors.
The Hard Cross features an aluminum frame with mullet wheels and generous suspension travel. With 180mm in the front and 170mm in the rear, you can tackle even the most challenging trails with confidence.
The DT Swiss HX 1700 SPLINE wheels, designed for tubeless setup, are paired with Schwalbe tires, ensuring excellent traction and control. And with the Bluetooth-enabled LCD display, you have the freedom to customize the characteristics of the EP8 motor using the E-Tube Project app.
Speaking of the motor, the Hard Cross is equipped with the Shimano EP801 motor with Free Shift and Auto Shift for the HC5 and HC4 models. This powerful motor is complemented by a 720Wh battery, providing ample power for those premium configurations.
For the HC3, HC2, and HC1 models, the Hard Cross features the Shimano EP6 motor with 85Nm of torque. These models come with a slightly smaller 630Wh battery, ensuring a thrilling riding experience while maintaining excellent range.
