The sensor comes with an app that does this. All you do is put the sensor on, press start on the app, put your phone on a tripod and swing and it will cut every swing you take into this format
His problem as I understood it was that Blast Motion had no way to measure "launch quickness," being the time/speed from the point the barrel begins to move until just about the time you come out of coil. He insists that this would be the only meaningful metric, and criticizes those who use analytical tools because they might encourage hitters to pursue numerical results rather than "game" results. Although I basically agree on fundamental points, I tend to have faith that hitters will appreciate the difference and understand how these tools can help. They are, in the end, optional.
@@stannelson4414yeah, I think you have to use it as you would use it in a game with a “Game Swing”… not a G-Hack Batting Cage HR Derby Swing… I’m debating on getting one and I agree with Teacherman in some aspects that it’s how “quick” you get your bat from start to finish through the hitting zone.. and not just how fast your bat speed can get. But using it as a barometer of how fast you’re swinging in your Game-Like Swing that would matter for improvement metrics.
@stannelson4414 yeah, Rich doesn't want kids chasing numbers like exit velocity, because some of the additional movements that create higher exit velocity can actually hurt a person's ability to hit well more often on live pitching, especially at higher levels.

You are the best hitting coach
Cool content (with the overlays). Possible to do a video on how you did the set and what app was used to make the video?

What are your thoughts on the Diamond Kinetics? I’m looking to purchase one in the near future
As someone who one blast motion, you should probably get diamond kinetics bc it’s cheaper and had more things than blast motion
Nice swing G your the man
I just tried coupon as well and it says expired😭
Tried says coupon expired!!
I suck! My bat speeds are around 40 mph! An old man ain't got a chance!
Damn all these kids have much better swings than me lmao
Teacherman was hating on this product. I respect both of your opinions so idk what to do
I like it to track progress of players. Players also get very competitive and love seeing their progress over time
