My sister in law lives near Los Angeles California in the desert and they got snow. She sent pictures of the road conditions her husband is driving in. He drives a semi full of explosive. I imagine it is the normal kind of weather you see on the average living in Michigan. All we got here was weather in the teens. My cousin who lives a couple hours south of Portland Oregon got snow too but her daughter who lives in Portland got a foot of snow. They almost broke the record for snow. A lot of places are not able to cope with large snow falls . They don't know how to drive in it since they don't really get it.

Schwan's doesn't do home delivery here anymore. My ex use to work for them for years and they were also one of my clients when I worked in TV advertising. I missed them! Great food!
Those daily devotionals are awesome. I bought one a few years ago and I reuse it every year because you can never stop working on your relationship! Have you tried the Fairlife protein shakes? I like the salted caramel ones. I also get the premiere protein powder in vanilla. you can add the baking flavors to make it any flavor you like for variety. That is a good idea about the cinnamon rolls. When I make banana bread or zucchini bread I like to make it into cupcakes too. very convenient in that form.
Watching from the UK, and wondering if the ice storms hit at all? Also, I thought we had it bad with costs over here, but most things seem REALLY expensive for you over there. Take care x
I can't believe how much grocery bills are these days. It is unreal. I feel so bad for people who live check to check but don't qualify for help I don't know how they make it.
We live in South Louisiana & also have well water. Well, We bought a Berkey. Consider it, as no more hauling bottles & jugs of water & paying for what Honestly is NOT convenience.
We have thought about it but the filters are also expensive but I did put it in my husbands ear as maybe a birthday or Christmas gift so maybe I could end up with one hopefully soon

I live in Michigan as well, that ice storm was a doozy.. We were without power for 5 full days, lost a freezer full of food ..

Yes we did get ice but not as bad as some other states alit of people lost power around us but we did not thankfully
