You're welcome. Very underrated amp. After jamming a bit I prefer this over the Champ 20 sound is big & gives more versatility for dirt & the clean is awesome!

    I rarely write commenbts but:
Greetings from Germany. I have the same model as you and I haven't touched my guitar and the amp for over 4 years, I guess? However when I turned everything on, the amps settings were all disturbed. Thanks to you buddy I can go back and play some metal songs. To be honest I am still iritated that my hands do remember everything after such a long time. I also don't understand why people dont like that amp, I have mine now for over 10 years, and it just works (well it did until the point where my roommate tweaked something.) Anyway thanks again. May your strings never rip :).

Hi I'm glad I was of help. It's a great amp. I don't understand the hate some gear gets. This amp sound big, it's loud & has great tones. You're welcome & keep tickling those strings! \\m//

I think they just got so popular that people felt threatened and started hating on them. It's a whole stigma thing. They are packed so full of features and they really do sound amazing if you have them dialed in correctly. Especially the 75 watt and up versions. I notice a lot of people reviewing them don't even know how to dial them in at all. It's one of those things that if a friend says they hate them and they sound like crap, everyone else will say it too just to be "cool". Kind of like if you don't buy snap on tools, then your tools are crap kind of thing. It's a shame really. Guarantee if you were to cover up the amp with a sheet and people didn't know what you were playing through they would swear up and down it sounds awesome. But if they see the name then all of a sudden it sounded like crap. People are something else. Smh.

Great review by the way. And the amp sounded great. I have the Spider IV HD150 head and 4x12 cab and I love it. I also have a Fender Super Reverb that I love as well. Wouldn't trade either of them.

@@xxMTxxDEWxx Thank you very much! I totally agree with you. If people would listen with their ears instead of their eyes there's a lot of great gear out there that's overlooked or hated on that really does sound great. I bet your head with that 4x12 sounds awesome!

How do you stop the effects from automatically coming on when switching between metal and clean channel?

You can't unfortunately. I don't know why they designed it this way but it's a pain.
