At the 1:02 mark, my residence hall’s fire alarm is the exact same horn/strobe and smoke detector seen here. Model of this device is a GX-90-S. The pulls are also FCI MS2s, just like the pulls here. Kinda interesting.
My middle school has 2nd or 1st generation SHGS both middle and high school Spectralert classics mostly and commanders here and there 1st generation commanders PLUS THERES A FIRE CODE VIOLATION A SHGs strobe in the high school is obstructed by a locker set which does not provide the proper light output
I have Gentex SHG, GXS (only in the front office), and Commander 3 in my school also along with System Sensor P2R (with or without L-Series), SW, and MASS without a strobe.
Awesome test! Really looks like a professional install. Those MT’s outside are a nice touch. At my job, I service accounts and they are the top choice for outdoor notification. I would maybe add a Rate Compensation Heat Detector in the shed you have outside. Just in case. The Fenwal Detect-A-Fire models are great for that
Have you considered getting an exit sign with fire alarm panel interface capabilities? if you have one of those hooked to the panel, it'll flash if the fire alarms go off.
@@FireAlarmDude5967 I see you have the units up for another exit/emergency light test. only two I could make out were a generic emergency light and a CC-2
ALMOST the same alarms as my school! The pull stations and smoke detectors are on point, but my school has the gentex sounder-strobes (there was a white one on the ceiling in this video idk the model number.)
@@aidanthetoiletelevatorfire7554 i knew that. i was just pointing out that a device that would be found in a 90s gentex system (ie the GMS), was not included even though it was supposed to be a 90s gentex system demo.
Awesome Test! I will be getting a System Sensor SPSCW soon.
4:54 Horn Strobe Stop
Awesome test! We love the Gentex alarms!
you got to be my favorite fire alarm collector!

Gentex SHGs! Theyre so cool. I have a 3rd Gen one
It sounds like a commander 3 and it has the half ridged strobe
My local Sears Corp located in a dead mall in my area has 2nd gen Gentex SHGs, but not for long. Demolition is among it.

@FireAlarmDude5967 scared me a bit there can't wait for the March system test
Cool video!
Great video! Some of those smoke detectors that you have in that setup are ones that were or are used in my old primary school!

Thank you! Yes, I do like wheelock notification appliances. I think wheelock makes the best quality stuff. Fairly priced too.

I have but I haven’t found one for a reasonable price yet.
