- Wake up babe, new R4nger supercut just dropped. Historically speaking, Collector has always been very good at destroying poorly made teams. Glad to see this trend is continuing.

"poorly made team" aka 'multiple people can't hit rank 4 reliably not including DoT', which is like 90% of 'I got fucked because of my comp' situations in this game IMO... they can't release houndmaster or arbalest soon enough.
I mean if he had just brought a pull he would have been fine. He had two characters with very strong pulls. Even Purge would have worked. Rank 4 reach isn’t everything.

Arbalest would be such a perfect addition to our current roster. I've been advocating for her before Flagellant was even added.
We need more back line carries in general for this game
This do be me every time I run with a "suboptimal" team. Running fun shit gets punished so hard sometimes. It's frustrating.

As a Fire emblem fan, I must say that enemies spawning in and immediately getting a turn before you can react is perfectly balanced and not a game design flaw that should have been fixed upwards of 15 years ago.

Collector is perfect and fun, even better than he was in DD1 (only HWM head mattered then). However, there have been complaints about the Heads getting an immediate turn right after summoned (similar to Miller and his friends in DD1) and, though at first i didn't agree with that point, i have to say it might be good.
My reasoning behind this is that, Collector only has 2 SPD with Ordainement, so he's pretty slow wich means the Heads would be summoned late in Round 1, and then we immediately go to Round 2 where they roll initiative. Considering the fact that the Heads are pretty fast (with Ordainement : Dismas=10 SPD, Junia=7 SPD, Barristan=4 SPD), it would not be gamebreaking to have them not act on the turn they are summoned and it might stop the bitching about this fight.
Of course, i will not post this idea in DDcord, otherwise i will be insulted, my opinion would be degraded and i would be told there is nothing wrong with the game only with my skill.

Are you me? Lol. Tried once to suggest to rebalance the collector's heads, got shat on by kids. The very next update that came out some hours later (the current one), collector had a change in how frequently he spawns heads when 1/2 are left. Literally what I was asking.

Discords are always inhabited by the most committed players… for them The Collector is a chance of things going wrong in a solved game 😂 I think he should be a run ender OR survive with perfect team + good RNG

I remember the first time I fought Collector. I was running Flaggelent (this is important) and I fought a cultist camp on the node just before the ending cultist fight and he showed up after the battle. It was a close fight but I won, went to the ending cultist camp, lost my biggest dmg dealer but won, and then Death showed up and finished me off. I was like, are you serious?! Back to back?!

that he spawned right after the bossfight before reaching the next node happened to me aswell. i was turning around and was looking for the cameras, since this could only be a satire. my guys were way to beaten up for him :D

I understand nothing about this game(barely understood the first one). Watching your strategies is always fun though!
The last update that came out the other day was literally the change the collector needed. Before, you could have killed one or two heads, who already attacked for that turn. He would immediately summon new ones who got ANOTHER turn despite you having killed them before. And then, next turn, they are fast AF and attack again for a third time. That was complete bullshit. Now, the collector doesn't summon the heads as frequently. I believe they made it so that at least one turn has to pass before he can summon them again.

Literally minutes ago same thing happened to me. One collector after another. While the first one wasn't that difficult, the second one basically obliterated me. Leper, Flag, Jester and Vestal went to shit.
I have no idea how, but in DD1, Flagellant died every time on the first death's door check. In DD2, Leper always dies on the first hit, with Flagellant killing the whole team instead by toxic and Death.

I had to do two collector fights in one region with only one assistance counter as a break between them.
First one I got good rolls but the second one collector had enough of my shit and focused my MAA who had an 85 deathblow resist and died on the first hit on deaths door.
And yes it was my fault tbh Collector is fair and balanced.

Why don't you try 'masquerade ball' or 'knives'. Leper doesn't make for a good dance partner. Now GR, jester hwm and alchemist pd work great as an "alpha strike" team. As in do loadsa damage round one and then do mop up. Piroette into PBS into finale.
