The HP-33S was discontinued in 2007 and is no longer available from HP. Unless you bought one before 2007 , you are out of luck on that one. Maybe you can find one on EBAY but it won’t be cheap. Also Casio and TI are more popular because they are less expensive and have many more functions built in than the HP-35S.
I passed on my first try using both a ti30x and a HP 33 during my junior year. Test taking strategy was a huge factor on passing since I only studied a few days before the exam. Thanks for the video!
Ti36x pro can't do indefinite integrals, derivatives, nor evaluate limits. It's crazy I've watched 5 videos and nobody mentioned that, yet talk about a bunch of shi that doesn't really even matter. Casio 115ex plus can do all three, plus everything the TI can do.
I have all three of the HP’s mentioned here plus a few others. The 33S is by far the worst build HP calculator I’ve ever used. Sticking buttons being the reason I rarely ever used it.
It depends on the US State you live in. Some states allow you to take the exam before you have enough work experience, so you have to then get that experience after you pass. Check with your State Board.

Thank you for sharing!
HP with RPN is basically obsolete now. Mathprint input on TI is just as fast. Between TI and Casio, pick the one you are familiar with.
The TI-30X Pro Math Print seems to be the best.

Thanks for sharing your feedback! It's always interesting to hear different perspectives on these calculators.
So....which is the best?
Dave it is personal preference, if it's possible to test them out or go to a store where you can see them, it might help you decide.
Good information
Thanks Mark. Glad it was helpful.
I heard that there are lots of conceptual questions. Can you make a video on how to tackle these types of problems. Would make for a great video.
Yes we will look into some.
Will you directly earn your certificate after passing?
