Thank you for putting in the time and effort to make this video comparison! It was extremely helpful and too the point. Something about that ridge rider... so classic sounding
A very worthwhile comparison. It's almost shocking how different these sound when you hear them played just seconds apart. Another LP fan, I'm still impressed with a bunch of the others. I think the more you know, the less brand loyal you end up. Isn't it crazy how much the Thomann ones ring out and ring on with sustain throughout being played. Filing no judgment either way on those or any of them, really. Let your own ears decide, and have fun playing.
Wow! The Thomann's ones speak melodically...Maybe far from a traditional concept of Latin oriented bells, but very interesting for synfonic like applications.
If you bought all of the thomman cowbells and arranged them in a line they could be fun to play out melodies, but the ridge rider is probably best for funky rock and pop beats, liking some of the Meinl ones as well
Lmao what a comment. You are so bored with "more cowbell" that you comment on a video with a lot of cowbells in it. Start campaigning for "less cowbell" mate. Immediately.

Cowbell cork sniffers may laugh, but I still love the sound of the Ridge Rider, it's the perfect punchy muted BONK.
what about the mambo tho?

The LP229 mambo cowbell sounds best to me. That low pitched throaty muted BONK sounds so fun

I have a Mambo and I love it!
Thank you so much for your video! I bought the Mambo bell and it sounds great on almost everything! Good medium/low pitch for general applications.
Very nice, exactly what I needed for my cowbell buying decision, Thank you very much!
I have the Millenium and it does its job very well. Costs 7,50 Euro (£6.30) at the moment and is really great value for money.
Sonically the black beauty matched the setup. I like how it hit a defining tone then got out the way. I just got the city.
The LP "City" bell sounds the same as their ES-2 Salsa Cha Cha High.
for me always LP, they just sound more musically!
That Meinl Groove Bell.....🔥🔥
Love them all. The LP Mombo is great
Peter Criss always said LP made the best and he was not wrong!!
I love thomann steel bells. Too gorgeous.
Meinl ones are my favorite
I kind of want all of ‘em!
Yes and then from all cowbells 12 versions from each note so they will match any key🤣
Thank you for this!
I've got a FEVER! ❤😂
To me LP have the best sound, for a pop/rock context
Exactly what i need thank you!
Just buy them all and rack em!
what kind of snare drum do you use in the video?
I used a Ludwig Super Sensitive B/O Badge, 6,5x14“
@@svenvonsamson8810 A drummer I used to play with said that the Ludwig snare is the best one.
1 the best
Es -12 excelente cha cha
I only like 8" or larger
(Do you know what I mean, ladies?!)
Gotta have more cowbell.
5:30 6:00
Gave the 666th like.
Very metal like
LP 4IVA
The Thomann ones are too resonant and overbearing for my taste.
The expression "more cowbell" wore thin long ago. Give it a rest. It was never even funny, Total bore.
😭😭😭
