When Justin gets it to work that first time, his look of wonder, and then excitedly practicing in the background. Any time magic turns adults into excited kids, it brings me joy.
I love Rubber Band Magic! These are some fun and strong bits of magic. I recall the first trick from Scam School 10 years ago. (a wonderful trip down memory lane. Thank you for that. :-)
She wasn't being racist, she was calling out the zeitgeist of the past for being racist. Basically saying "This is how people thought and it was not ok"
Its just anti white leftist BS Shes saying its racist to name something after the country where it originated? If they didn't, you'd probably acuse white people of stealing it from Chinese culture. Not to mention "Chinese" is not a race. Dumbest thing I've ever heard on this channel. Disliked and unsubbed
@@tylerdorton-beck1153 why is it bad to acknowledge the country where something came from?? You want to erase the name Chinese on everything that comes from China? You wanted to erase the Indian woman on Land O Lakes butter, you erased aunt Jemimas face, you erased uncle Ben from boxes of rice, you erased the Cleveland Indians mascot and changed their name, you erased the redskins name and mascot, how can democrats hate minorities so much that they don't even want to see them on their boxes of FOOD?
@@johnf817 because the trick wasn't actually made by a Chinese person. It is using a culture of people to sell something as more exotic and weird. It's not actually celebrating that culture or it's accomplishments. Everything else you listed was because of perpetuating stereotypes and cultural appropriation. Each of those companies are using a minority group and turning them into a mascot or a caricature. Again, it is not out of respect for the culture or representation. It is a white person using a minority group for branding.
@@tylerdorton-beck1153 I would look up Ching Ling Foo a magician from the 17th century. You sound like a fool. Representing a sports team, for example, as fierce warriors (which Indians were) is a complement. We were at war with them, they were adept warriors, to name a sports team after skilled warriors is endearing. The Land o Lakes indian woman was conceptualized and illustrated by Patrick DesJarlait, "the Red Lake Ojibwe tribe artist who created and was paid for the version of Mia that most of us have known since 1954" Aunt Jemima, Nancy Green, was the first black woman ever to appear in an advertising image. But apparently, minorities aren't capable or allowed to make good food, or be involved in the advertising of products. Of course, Cracker Jack's are perfectly fine!
Haha I saw it day one it was published :D Since then, I've repeated countless times until my fingers skin was burning, lol. I found some way of making this magic trick more interactive to the public, like you can wrap the hair band (I'm using a hair band) around you thumb, show it to everybody without revealing the trick knot ; then wrap your fist around your thumb, now in a closed position too, as if you're making a fist with your thumb inside the fingers (so you couldn't make the band escape, pretty much like you did when asking to hold the finger with a pinch). But then, you can also ask somebody to hold your closed fist with their hands wrapped around that fist, and then ask somebody else to hold the hair band with a pinch (by that time, your index finger and thumb can take hold of the knot if you're careful, so you can let go of your grip to give it to someone else)... Eventually you can still take the hair band off your fist and it's amazing 😋 (additional drama effect : ask a last person to hold your other arm as well).
because obviously, Chinese linking rings made popular by chinese magicians is racist but calling a trick "white girl rubber band trick " is not racist neither sexist 🙄
I did find this kind of annoying. If it was just a joke than it's really funny, but it seems like they actually think so. Similar with the whole credit and parking ticket line.

Magical Katrina knows what Magical Katrina likes.
I love these magic tutorials with Katrina, as does my 7 year old. Thanks for having her back!

There is soo much innuendo...
Hahahaha, agreed...
Does the camera guy not like Katrina? lol
Every time I see her tricks, they always seem to catch her at a angle where it SHOWS the trick, lol.
If you watch her magic on her personal UA-cam channel I don't think it's a camera operator issue
2 channels with videos featuring Andrew Heaton in one day! Best day ever!
It's a dead give away if the spectator can see the other side of your thumb where there's a loop of the rubber band already wrapped around it.
I admit it, every time I see Magical Katrina in the thumbnail I get a little extra excited =) I love her personality and showmanship skills! =)
Man i remember that first rubber band trick, that must have been over a decade ago jeez :o
Itll always be scamschool in my heart
It doesn't come across well on camera.
Almost like they're doing it on purpose....
Watch this at half speed. What the hell xD
so obvious what she was doing in the 1st half, you didnt need to explain it

Oh hello, I'm An drew Heaton. This prestidigitation was quite vexing.
i actually created a routine that emulates the linking rings, with 4 rubber bands
