This whole reprint conversation is getting warped. People need to remember that during the time a product is in the standard rotation of the game, the Pokemon company want it to be readily available in stores for players, hobbyists, kids, collectors, you name it. Historically sets become investable once they go out of rotation and therefor OUT OF PRINT. I can't believe people are shocked about standard sets getting reprinted. I honestly think people forget that its a game first, collectable second and investment somewhere way down the rankings. They reprinted 151 because it had sold out because everyone all the investors bought it up and people who wanted to enjoy it couldn't. GOOD!!! The game and hobby needs to thrive first while it is still in rotation. Once its out of rotation is when you would expect something to become investable because there is no reason they would reprint it but until then all bets are off and that is the way it should be.
what are you saying? this set is nowhere near sold out. I see it available online and in-stores. Game first you say but yet about 75% of people that buy these cards are in it to collect and not play.
When is it gonna be in US store ?
The problem is reprints is that it kills the focus of new sets or content. I think Pokémon should avoid reprints as much as possible, because it kills interest in the latest set. I don’t like this focus being pulled back to something we have already experienced. It’s boring and lame.

@@PokemSockemHockeyAre you saying the Pokemon TCG would thrive if they stopped making playable cards as 75% only buy to collect? The game is easily the most important aspect and Pokemon made 11.7 billion cards last year to support the game.
I will be buying a few bundle cases of 151 once it’s reprinted, can’t wait to rip some more of this set!
The wife and I just got back into the hobby with opening 151 packs. Bring on the reprints!
All I need are the secret cards from 151 now. So won’t do boosters. But hopefully it brings the individual prices down.

I hope the reprint rumors are true, Im sick of people hoarding product, barley got to open much of 151 before sealed product jumped in price
Appreciate you talking about this. Doesn’t seem like anyone in the states are talking about a 151 reprint. Prices of singles and sealed keep going up in price. Did everyone not just see Pokemon decimate JP 151. Reprints are coming y’all! Stop buying at the peak and wait a couple months!
With holiday season being around the corner obviously the Pokemon Company is going to reprint 151 because everyone is gonna be buying it up for themselves or their children

All pokemon Japan is aiming to do is make pokemon centers enjoyable again pre the summer 2023 boom.
Walk away from Japanese sets. They are tough to sell, no one wants it, boxes or singles. Only the waifu cards have value.

I hope there's no reprint, this product has already been massprinted, you can still find it everywhere. It will only kill the set even more until its deemed worthless.
Where do you live ? I’m in LA and haven’t seen any 151 in stores for months. And all my local stores sell market price, which is higher then msrp and stores like target and Walmart .

Well for one yall probably missed restocks, know which day vendor restocks that'll help alot. Secondly hot products aren't gonna sit on shelves waiting for yall to come buy them fcfs. Yall calling for mass reprint so yall can buy one or two product to open then call it quit after, that's what kill set values, if yall look back alot of previous set values declines and sit on shelves to the point where people will say "this set sucks or no values" take CR FS for example. When those set came out alot of people don't like it, it even had a big reprint and now both are hot sets. Products are still out there with CR, FS and even ES, yall just need to hunt for em.
Reprints are a double edged sword, they are good for people like me, the casual collector. It's bad for the resellers. Which I'm ok with. What gives resellers the right to be mad about reprints? Sorry you spent an absurd amount of money buying all the stock so you can sit on it and sell it marked up later. I was in my local Walmart a couple weeks ago, I get off work @ 830am and swung in to pick up a few things, noticed they were restocking cards so I went to check it out, what do I see when I get there? Some dude with 3 shopping carts full of stuff, the dude was literally picking up the products as the employee was putting them onto the shelf. I asked the guy if all that was his, of course he said "yeah, if you wanted any you should of got here before me". I asked the Walmart employee if there was a buy limit and he said it wasn't his problem.
Theres still so much 151 available. Why does Pokemon reprint when product is selling for waaay less than msrp? They devalue their own product.
Where is all this 151 below msrp? Please share with the class. All my local card shops and box stores, sold out or over priced ($60 for a booster bundle $80 for etb) Online- sold out or its a $15 Amazon scam. Would love to find this secret place and get some 151, but I dont have access to your imagination.
@SkareKrow23 since you're replying in a snarky way, I won't bother sharing with you. Do your own investigation with that attitude. I guarantee people are finding UPCs for less than a $100 and mini tins bundled for about $20 each.

I've been chasing this set fro MSRP I was lucky to find a few I have gone all over to about 30 different stores. It's a rare find now here in AZ.@@Goat-tb9re
