Yes, movies and shows should absolutely affect comic prices and value..

Hello everyone! In a world of speculation and comic investing, I share my views on the movies and shows. I wanted to discuss when they should affect comic values and when they should not!

Yeah I’m in the same boat where I grew up with Keaton Batman and McGuire Spider-Man and they are what turned me into a superhero fanatic. If I grew up any differently I’m not sure what my hobbies would look like. Awesome video!👍

I have to agree with the Miles Moreles and I was happy that my Spiderman, Miguel, got a good movie and a good story!
For me I have been in the comics before the movies/shows so I mostly the characters were known to me, but I think that this is the reason why I am so eagerly waiting the DC universe, because I get to see characters from comics/animation brought to live screen, and they are new characters, so new people get to know them 😊 and as in Finland, DC isn't as big as Marvel so I get to tell my friends for example who, Metamorpho, is! 🎉

I felt the same way about Miguel. I knew of him but wasn't as familiar, and that movie made me go out and by the Spiderman 2099 omnibus! And that means once these DC movies start rolling out you get to be the expert with all your friends catching them upto speed! Lol

It was the 50s reruns of Superman and the 1966 Batman show that sucked me in as a kid. I’m still buying these things 🤷‍♂️

I know for a lot of people it all started with the comics, but for me, it was almost the opposite . If not for a lot of the movies and shows, I wouldn't have the same love for certain characters as I do today and be willing to pay up for those 1st appearances!

@@ConlinsComics August 1991 I picked up xmen 280 and x-factor 69 my first comics, great joy from these and their very cheap. I'm on board with u as my thought process is a new baseline price once character released.

@brandonmetro7115 That is amazing that you got those books and still have them in the collection! It's fun and cool, having big books or books you know have value, but it's books like those that'll mean the most
