    Out of 3 videos I watched for the pump armor you were the most informative.
    Simple, easy steps.
    No more, no less.
    Not confusing at all.
    Thank You Sir and God Bless.
    Keep up the good work.

    Maintenance is the most important part of tools, I always tell young folks, no job is complete until your tools are properly cleaned and put away. 👍👍

    Why not put throat seal directly in the inlet where your spray line hooks up. It is an oil lube which will not freeze & great for the pump.

    May be late to the topic, but Great video. You gave instructions like you would to a young kid very detailed. Even if instruction wasn't 100% accurate, im sure anyone could work the sprayer afterward.

    Just looking for a clarification. So, I should be running the 2 oz. of PA through the pump and not expect it to sit in the pump. In other words, the 2 oz. will likely flow out of the waste tube in the time you are running the machine to circulate the PA, correct? Just running the PA through is enough to maintain the pump for storage?

    Out of curiosity, what do you do with the drain water?

    • @Caliber8Tools
      @Caliber8Tools  19 днів тому

      Dispose of it by straining the water with a filter or a sieve. This will separate the paint solids. Dump the water down the drain and let the solids dry and harden first before you dump them in the trash. You can also use kitty litter to absorb the water and the solids and dump that in the trash but the first way doesn’t cost you a bag of kitty litter.

    I've never had any luck using this type of stuff other than short term storage days weeks not sure how long it really last, but I only use mine once or twice a year, mind you I'm contractor , and every time I did use this stuff I had to take it in for service, the bearing pits and its done. Use PAINT THINNER or DIESEL and you'll never have and issue . took years to get the right answer your welcome

    When storing paint in the hose, the gun will also have paint in it, correct. Should the bucket if paint and suction tube be cover with some type of plastic over night to keep the paint soft and moist?

    • @Caliber8Tools
      @Caliber8Tools  Рік тому

      Yes, covering it with plastic is good, to prevent air from entering.

    had my sprayer for 3 years now and never used that pump armor once...my machine is finally not working....i am assuming that's what the little bottle they gave me with the machine is (pump armour) i will try it tomorrow... if not i am going to have to roll and brush the apartment for hours rather than the usual half an hour with the sprayer....//// wish me luck.....
    i just never thought cleaning my machine was that important....and definately never though i needed to use that container of whatever.... but we'll see tomorrow...or maybe i've waited too long to use the stuff and the machine is now damaged...

    Thanks for the video. I recently bought the x5 for my wall painting project. However since i live in the south east Asia, im not sure ill be able to find pump armor fluid anywhere but online which may take a month.
    So is a radiator fluid a good alternative for the machine? Thanks again!

    • @Caliber8Tools
      @Caliber8Tools  2 роки тому

      Go to segment 6:45 on the video. You pour it into the suction tube while the machine is off. Once you pour about 2 oz in. Turn the machine on, let it cycle through the sprayer out the drain tube. Then turn the machine off.
