  • In this video, I show you how to play the B major scale on the left hand ascending. This scale contains 5 Sharp notes, so is a scale that is predominately made up of black keys, and playing this on the left hand uses a slight variation on the normal finger pos previously encountered making it a bit challenging at first but with practice, it becomes easier.
    To play the B major scale on your left hand ascending, start with your ring finger on the ROOT B, middle finger plays C#, the index finger plays D# and the thumb plays E. Then CROSS YOUR FINGERS OVER, so your ring finger plays F#, middle finger plays G#, index finger plays A# and the thumb plays the OCTAVE B.
