Brilliant scenario! I love that this era of ITV receives recognition and it was played out very well. Every detail down to the human continuity presenter rather than an automated emergency alert voice (as the severity of the situation has not been realised at such short notice) explaining the situation to the swift cut to the news. However, if i was to add constructive criticism, i would say it makes more sense the continuity announcer to only speak on the interruption and the cut to the news, and leave the description of the incident to the news itself, although i understand that would be a challenge given there likely isnt going to be a real person who would want to make such a fake report.
I love theese types of analogue horror videos especially with eas scenarios n stuff like that with old british tv from the 90's to 2010's. A mix of horror and nostalgia that is perfect

ITV 1 programmes could be moved to ITV2 or postponed outright that evening. The way you showed ITV 2 dealing with the situation to begin with however was pretty much spot on and the announcers throughout were very realistic and the ending would pretty much exactly be what would have happened if something like this was to happen back in 2006. Keep it up 👍

I do think however that ITV1 would have some sort of ticker at the bottom of the screen (just like with ITV2) to update viewers on what is going on. I added in the ITV2 bit because while making this, I had a thought about what ITV2 would do in a situation like this with The Xtra Factor. It was actually going to be the announcer linking to an Beat and Worst Xtra Factor but I think this would've been more what ITV2 would do.
