OMG I can feel that understeer. Underpowered car with stock suspension is "kinda okay" then u already had drift experience and know that to do, but it is huge disappointment then you are the beginner. Great example why to get stiff suspension for drift as sun as possible.
Volvo designed them to understeer, my stock, quite worn nearly 300k mile '89 740 (in the rain) is quite tail happy, probably because the shocks are ruined and the rear can't roll as much as the front can. Good fun these cars.
Mines a 90 with 1 mil miles on engine and sustained 2 95mph hits it drives well in the rain yours might need some tlc if its doing that

Is it auto ? Weight reduction would help alot . Lots of weight reduction , and lots of pressure in those rear tires , and preferably some dry rotted shit tires
@@driftsnlifts yeah, its fully gutted, seam welded, ac delete, cut out spare metal, racing seat and s14 passenger, 50psi tires, but I have brand new calipers and shit in the back. I have a proportioning valve and hydro e brake mounted but I need to plumb the last 4 lines under the car and bleed it
@@StreetForged at that point dude some more power is gonna be the key unfortunately . Whats it got for suspention? Turbo auto can drift but na auto is pretty shit no matter how good the chassis is
@@driftsnlifts I have kaplhenke panhard and axle bushings, custom spherical joint torque rods, and poly front trailing arm bushings, but cut springs. It's a big work in progress, I need to update this channel with more of it as well. I'm planning to v8 bevause it will cost roughly the same to m47 and boost, so I've been prepping the chassis and suspension for that in the meantime and daily driving/small drifts and donuts. You should hmu to chat sometime, been watching you and following your channel since the beginning

Do you guys over there Have steering angle kits and that sort of stuff for your Volvos? Here we Have 2 kits available one that gives you around 45 degrees and one that gives you up to 66 degrees of angle :D
We usually make our own knuckles ! But the only custom angle kit available over here is the kaplhenke racing quick steer roll center correctors

@@driftsnlifts thats the 2 most common kits here, the small one gives 45 degrees and costa around 100 usd and the big one gives up to 66 degrees and ia about 700 usd. We have lots of costume drift stuff here in Sweden, i don't know if you can order from the us and Canada :( they aew called "txr styrvinkelkitt" txr steeringangle kits
