Something they probably know, but Jar Jar is actually the reason Sheev Palpatine got the Emergency Powers that let him form and keep a hold of the Grand Army of the Republic
If I remember the movies right, they were trying to find a way to retroactively legalize the Clone Army that had been ordered behind everyone's backs. 18:24 I love how in The LEGO-verse, if you lose your arm. It's treated like a minor inconvenience and not a life threatening injury. They don't even wince or cry in pain. Master Windu just looks disappointed.
It’s actually even more than that. When Anakin goes to find his mother in Episode 2, the Tusken Raiders he attacks get their heads and legs cut off, yet end up fine in the end. Seriously, it’s at the point where Dooku could have survived.
Originally, Marge was meant to have bunny ears under her hair. This can be seen in a couple games, as they can be seen when Marge gets electrocuted and x-rayed, and when her hair almost gets pulled off.
It’s all but confirmed that Jar Jar was meant to be the real “Phantom Menace” of the prequels as a sith under Palpatine. There’s also a lot of evidence that Count Dooku was actually invented last minute to replace Jar Jar’s role in the story after everyone hated on him.
My favorite line of (the abominable) Jar Jar Binks is from the Clone Wars, where he comments on someone getting “crispy-fried”, presumably after someone dies.
The was an idea that was genius on paper and absolutely unacceptable in execution. Its legit really hard in games like that to keep track of your partner, but their solution was a nightmare
I’m so glad I didn’t play this game with anyone because I killed the AI so many times on accident because I was just careless throwing my lightsaber around.
I love how everyone, myself included, always blows themselves up at the very start in the trade federation ship because they don't know the red glowing boxes blow up if you hit them.
Sure, Jar Jar said the thing that gave Palpatine emergency powers, but that was only because Palpatine and that one blue guy had a conversation right in front of him that went like ‘gee the separatists are making an army, we need one too! Ah unfortunately that requires a senator to give me emergency powers. Damn if only we had one of those. I bet you senator Amidala would do it, shame she’s off world. If only there was someone else who could possibly do it. hmmm. Hmmmmmmmm. Where would we find that person?’ I bet they held that conversation multiple times until Jar Jar finally realised HE could be the helpful senator
8:01 I love the foreshadowing in this scene. After Padme asks "Ani?", Anakin turns back from The Red Light to happily look at Padme. And Padme falls in love with him. The Red Light is foreshadowing on his turn to The Dark Side and how Padme was really the reason behind it all. Anakin did it to protect Padme. Although misguided, his intents were truly noble.
"Like LEGO Walter White-" [4:40] I could just imagine The Ending Scene in LEGO. They would 100% play it off for laughs. Like somehow, they would make that emotional scene into a comedy laugh track ending.
Fun fact, the alien language, Aurebesh, below the boss names that pop up before the actual fight actually translate into something. Darth Maul - Red dude with a bad attitude. Jango Fett - Donor for the clone army. General Grievous - More sabers than sense. Darth Sidious - Also known as the Senate. Anakin Skywalker - Ex-podracer and current sith apprentice.

18:24 I love how in The LEGO-verse, if you lose your arm. It's treated like a minor inconvenience and not a life threatening injury. They don't even wince or cry in pain. Master Windu just looks disappointed.
it can always just be reattached, like when Robin gets his head removed in Lego Batman 1.
It’s actually even more than that. When Anakin goes to find his mother in Episode 2, the Tusken Raiders he attacks get their heads and legs cut off, yet end up fine in the end.
Seriously, it’s at the point where Dooku could have survived.
@@ThunderMouse1999 "Dew it"
Based Dooku: "Dw Anakin, I can take it"
Originally, Marge was meant to have bunny ears under her hair. This can be seen in a couple games, as they can be seen when Marge gets electrocuted and x-rayed, and when her hair almost gets pulled off.
The construction of the bald family tree took more time in the stream than the game itself, and it was glorious.
Lol the Darth Vader "Nooooo" was just as comical as it was in the movie.
I’m glad that the devs fixed that god awful split screen from the lotr Lego game, now I can watch without getting motion sick :D
The was an idea that was genius on paper and absolutely unacceptable in execution. Its legit really hard in games like that to keep track of your partner, but their solution was a nightmare
that was in a lot of lego games and im pretty sure the dynamic split screen can be turned off
Can’t wait to buy this game, this just makes me want to buy it now!
I highly Recommend it
The makers of this game grew up with prequel memes and you can't convince me otherwise.
It makes me unreasonably happy to recognize Star Wars Lego sets that I actually have, like the LAAT gunship in the Geonosian arena.
I’m so glad I didn’t play this game with anyone because I killed the AI so many times on accident because I was just careless throwing my lightsaber around.
I loved seeing the Kirby segment of the ‘bald chart’. That Legit is ACTUALLY KIRBY LORE.
I love how everyone, myself included, always blows themselves up at the very start in the trade federation ship because they don't know the red glowing boxes blow up if you hit them.
I haven’t seen Star Wars so this is my first encounter with the story. It’s perfect and i will forever call this canon
As someone who's just recently watched the prequels for the first time, this is even better
11:46 I fell asleep after starting this video and woke up at this point extremely confused 😭
People will never know the levels of insanity the discord went into making that final timeline.
Fun Fact, Ewan McGregors brother is in the RAF, his callsign is Obi-Two
I really miss having to fight your actual friend/sibling at the end of Revenge of the Sith... That's perfect game adaptation right there!
If only there was someone else who could possibly do it. hmmm. Hmmmmmmmm. Where would we find that person?’
I bet they held that conversation multiple times until Jar Jar finally realised HE could be the helpful senator
This is some dougdoug levels of side tracking and I love it
-Hey Billy what's your favorite RT stream?
-I really like the one where rt talks about big headed bald people for a lOOOOOng time
This is the greatest game of all time
Though I miss the Charachter creator.
Honestly the droid scream (1:33) is real amazing especially with the slight mic echo.

I love the foreshadowing in this scene.
"Like LEGO Walter White-" [4:40]
I could just imagine The Ending Scene in LEGO. They would 100% play it off for laughs. Like somehow, they would make that emotional scene into a comedy laugh track ending.
I had so much laugh while watching this, I really hope that the original trillogy will deliver as much as the prequells did.
Love how they got the Clone Wars actors, they definitely had some fun with it
RT creates a universe where all fictional bald characters are related and everything is interconnected.
Yessssssss I love all your Lego content I’m sorry I can never make the streams but I super love all your content and I can’t wait to see how awesome your editor did this time to cut it down.
“hello there” never gets old, no matter what form it’s in
I have an extremely dry sense of humour but this game made me laugh too hard
The nerdy energy of this stream was just a delight. Keep being awesome RT. Same goes for Kiwo.
This is one of the games of all time
rt and kiwo nerding out over this game and the movies is so wholesome i love it
As always a joy to watch
As both a Star Wars fan and a LEGO fan, exploring all of the planets in this game was godlike. I loved it so much.
"They just made him suffer in this game"
*Good*
The whole time I was waiting for Anakin to air out a temple of Lego kids
voices in mumble mode are weak compared to the mumbles of the previous lego titles
but you can still tell there was actual heart put into this game and that deserves recognition
Mumbles were ass probably due to the main way to play was voices unfortunately but they admittedly made the game amazing otherwise i think
I liked the old ones since they expressed so much emotion without doalogue but I also like the voice acting of this game
Finally someone brings up that this game has bayonetta combos
This game is amazing I have dunked so many hours in already!!
This video went so far off the rails multiple times.
I love it.
Funnyly enough, JarJar was actually one of the senators that not only voted Palpatine into power he actively campaigned for it. There is a whole story about him becoming a clown on Naboo who's shunned by everyone but the children for bringing about the empire. It's rather sad and it's kinda what george lucas became when he sold star wars to disney
What's the saying? Is it life imitates art? Or art imitates life...
I mean at least Lucas made a choice that makes sense. Who wouldn't sell out for 2 billion? He never even expected SW to make it past 1 movie lol. He could not give less of af about SW and I don't blame him.
@@geordiejones5618 Star Wars is worth way more than 2 billion dollars. George could have had his entire bloodline set forever just on the revenue he would constantly generate off of owning the franchise.
@@geordiejones5618 I mean there's this little thing called empathy, where you realize how others feel and try not to shit on them.
@@kazuhiramiller7945 again...why should he care? Thr fans have always cared more about SW than most of the creators. Enjoy Disney servitude lol. i stopped caring about SW when I hit puberty. Its not as hard seeing a childhood enjoyment changed into something else. Plus I maintain that the movies were maybe the weakest part of the franchise. KOTOR 1/2 and TCW did more for me than any of the movies ever did.
out of all the videos on Star Wars the Skywalker Saga this is the BEST
My only complaint is that P1 and P2 don't fight as Obi-Wan and Anikan like in the original Lego Star Wars
As someone who grew up with the original Lego Star Wars games, I unironically appreciated this one so much.
The real Star Wars was the friends we made along the way!
is it just me or do i absolutely love how excited rt and kiwo are when playing the lego games 🥺😭
fake fans: why is rey on the front screen????
real fans: why is jar jar on the front screen????
Bro the prequels were infinitely better than the sequel trilogy.

Redditors found this comment uh oh
Dan and Kiwo playing Lego games is the best kind of content, it's always so wholesome!
I never thought anyone would ever be able to make the prequels into even more of a meme... but here's the proof! 😂👏
kinda disappointed the mission title for the fight with grievous wasnt called something like "time to call the grieving widows" or something like that
