Welcome to our project for 2025, over the course of this year we will be featuring creative, inspirational people living on the Isle of Harris & Lewis.
Deb Wilkinson is an artist based on the Isle of Harris, Outer Hebrides and shares her story with us, from an early childhood interest in sketching to building a very successful art business. Deb is incredibly talented and displays her stunning work in her gallery at home. Deb has been inspired by the island community, beautiful landscape, varied weather and feels at home, happy and creative here in the Outer Hebrides, a truly lovely lady with a huge talent. Wonderful video and some fantastic artwork. It’s great to see someone live out their dream and what a place to do it. I’m Scottish and I can honestly say Harris and Lewis is my favourite place,it’s simply stunning.

I love the project idea ladies and enjoyed the first episode. I’m sure you will get much local interest and hope that spreads afar. As artists or creators it’s great to share stories , passions and art as a similar emotional vein runs through each and every one of us that connects us on a basic level. Deb if you read the comments I’d definitely bob in on my next trip to the Isles!
