Mate, you've cracked it, IMHO as lovely a knife as you have ever made! Being able to "see" its origins, from the wrought iron to the file just adds to the artistry in the blade!
Did you hollow grind or flat grind the bevels? Little hard to tell in the pictures. Turned out great. I love doing wrought iron sanmai. Such a beautiful material with lots of character. Best part is that it works and welds easy, with the correct heat ofcourse.
Beautiful, as always. The antler and buffalo horn are a nice touch. Love the profile of the knife. 🍻😎Quick question did you ever finish the project on the wood house that you were restoring?
Thanks Daniel, funny you should ask about the shepard hut I was there this week getting set up ready to continue the work now. All the big things i needed like the roof sheets siding sheets and windows etc have arrived so I will be back there next week and crack on with the build. I think the first job will be installing all the wiring for power. Cheers.

Beautiful work, and I especially appreciate leaving the top of the tang proud of the scales, a very nice touch indeed.
