In Russia every boy must serve in Army when he became 18 yo. Just for 1 year. Soldiers on video is just 18yo boys. p.s. Free studying is for all citizens, from this point of view in Army there are no any benefits. You can buy apartments after several years of service (but to preserve them you need to serve at least 10 years, or more common 20 years), while as teacher or doctor you can get apartments/house immediately after university together with additional money (average salary for ~2,5 years) for beginning of life (and to preserve house/money you need to work at least 5 years).

It takes a while, but finally the bone chilling melody reaches the Americans’ ears.

At first it seems like a random spot in the vast Russian wilderness; however, he pulls a lever on a tree disguised as a branch. It takes a few moments, but after that a hidden door opens up in the tree. He steps in, and is taken down in an elevator, far below the surface. When it slows to a halt, he steps out and walks down a hallway that it has opened up to. He doesn’t hesitate as he enters a key code for a door at the far end of the hallway. He steps into a grand palace-like room, with gold pillars and marble floor and walls. He follows a luxurious red carpet down to the back of the room and bows down at the foot of some stairs.
“What do you want?” booms a voice.
“Your greatness...” he looks up. “The Americans have been defeated.”
From the shadows at the top of a stairs steps a woman, her hair long, silky, and pale. She is short, but that does not change the amount of commanding aura around her. She wears an elegant dress made of bright red raw meat, its meaty juices slowly, _threateningly,_ dripping down her legs.
The woman gave a soft smile. _”Perfect.”_
From there, within just a matter of months, the Russians are able to invade America. With most of its army gone, killed in the failed Moscow siege, Russia conquers America and wins the war - all under the reign of famed and admired Supreme Leader Gaga. Her legacy is preserved and studied closely as the founder and first leader of the Great Gaga Nation, which goes on to conquer the rest of the world, fueled by the singer-turned-dictator’s classics, which include but are not limited to Bad a Romance, A Million Reasons, and Poker Face.

This is actually to practice synchronized movement for parades! The army usually sings some kind of folk song, but sometimes they joke around and sing pop songs! Just a little fact for y’all!
So it's basically the idea of getting soldiers to do marching band style parades. Cool!

In Russia every boy must serve in Army when he became 18 yo. Just for 1 year. Soldiers on video is just 18yo boys.

Free studying is for all citizens, from this point of view in Army there are no any benefits. You can buy apartments after several years of service (but to preserve them you need to serve at least 10 years, or more common 20 years), while as teacher or doctor you can get apartments/house immediately after university together with additional money (average salary for ~2,5 years) for beginning of life (and to preserve house/money you need to work at least 5 years).
