This is serious stuffs! You can clearly hear the crowd starts with laughter thinking this is going to be funny. By the time like 1 minute 20 seconds passes and the crowd's laughter has already been turned into cheering, screaming. And they start to enjoy more and are left stunned speechless as time passes. Incredible performance guys!
I think even the laughter was them just starting to enjoy the performance I doubt anyone was laughing in a mocking manner.

People laugh when they're uncomfortable. In this case, they're not comfortable with the idea that their friends can pull off an awesome piece of entertainment, so they laugh nervously.
I laughed at how perfectly they nailed the original choreography especially because they are a bunch of college age guys. Totally laughing with them not at them. I’m sure they cracked each other up in rehearsals.

This right here, is pure gold. I remember that a friends brother, older than me and him, presented this to us when I was a kid, saying we wouldnt laugh at it in a few years. Couldnt be more right.
This video represents to me how shitty, bad and hard, socially, being a man can be. You are judged, evaluated, assessed by others, and ten times by yourself. I know this group does/did this multiple times but this gets to me. Just some guys, happy, dressed how they want, in a square in a sunny day, singing and dancing Lady Gaga regarding what she represents, and doing it flawlessly, regardless of what people might think about "grown men together singing Lady Gaga". We dont even know shit about their sexual orientation, and we dont care. They are just happy. United. Happy men united. People who started cheering got this point.

2022!
6 years later. I was on my last leg when OTR had 7K views on Quad Bad Romance. I was lucky to get in on the beginning of this phenomenon. OTR crew blew me away at a time when I had lost everything. These guys had all the pressures of being college students, exams, papers, personal lives...and they still could handle learning the choreography and music for BR. They were, in-a-word, "inspirational" to me.
Watching in 2023 and this is what I think.
This is simply amazing! I can imagine how fantastic it must be to watch you guys do it! Amazing, unforgettable! On The Rocks, you guys are amazing! I've been watching and re-watching your videos for years and I've never seen anything so amazing. I love everything you've done!
