Back and following your $10 challenge. Great job. Had a friend who years ago educated himself, collected and sold Roseville, Rookwood pottery, etc going to flea markets, garage & estate sales, etc. buying items cheap then reselling to collectors; would turn a $20 vase into a $1200 sale. Good luck.

Me too! Art glass always amazes me. Artists have to work so precisely and quickly, and the great artists make unbelievable work. Thanks for watching, Penelope!

Hello Joe, looking at your Esty shop you have some great shots of your items. Very clean and clear and no reflections. Maybe you can do a video on how you photograph the paintings in particular. Trying to photograph highly reflective object is very hard, wondering what tips you can give on this topic. Again, love your videos and keep it up:)

That's awesome! It's takes some time to build up Etsy sales, but once they start coming in, you'll see more and more each month. Keep me updated on your progress!

Hi Joe…Love this challenge that you set yourself!…have been following your progress…love the unusual pottery piece…looks ‘quality’ to me 👍… and the wrought iron candle sconce too… But that art glass vase is stunning… Have you checked Scandinavian makers of mid century glass… the name sounds like it could be Norwegian maybe…that should be a winner…it’s beautiful!!…$237 is pretty good total… from $10 dollar start… even if still some unsold!!…👍👌…Sue (UK)…Good Hunting…and see you next time…

Thank you so much! I found that the art glass is actually Romanian, so you're not far off at all! Good eye! I appreciate you watching and keep me updated on your finds :)

Great job as always. I like your videos. I started buying artwork a few years ago and now have about 175 pieces. I'm now loading them up on Etsy. I have some pieces that I know are over $1000+. Do you know of any reasonably good priced online companies that could help on appraising?

Wow that's fantastic, Frank! I've actually tried a couple appraising companies. I really only use them for pieces I cannot identify, but think they might have great value. Valuemystuff.com is fairly priced. Justanswer.com also has an antiques and art section. Honestly, though, auction houses will usually always appraise/value pieces for free in hopes you consign your item. You won't get an actual written appraisal for selling or insurance purposes, but you will get an idea of value. Also, Dr. Lori is a fantastic resource! I would recommend submitting any art to her. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the good info. I did check into Dr Lori and may do that. I'll have to do the math on the exchange as I'm in Ontario, Canada. I do like the auction idea as well. Look forward to the next video.
