Great song. It has a great 'Earworm' quality to it. Really enjoyed that. Old cinemas are odd. We have one in my town, that was only open for a short time, from the 1980's, and which looks like a huge, silver ocean liner, empty, and stuck between two busy roads. It's rather sad, actually.
It’s strange, lots of people have said similar things to me about old cinemas since I released this. There’s a lot of love for them and it seems lots of towns have one!
Occasionally your vocals remind me of Mick Head from Shack etc.
Thank you for providing a new and modern perspective by keeping the memory of the old Essoldo cinema alive. I really like the music and lyrics! So job well done... ohh and I've just watched "Get It Right" which I think is terrific.
Thanks for use of the footage! Wanted to show people that it’s not a tired old eyesore but a unique piece of architecture with an amazing interior. Shame I never got to go inside but hopefully one day... And thanks so much for listening!
