I really enjoyed this video. I love the Circle of Doors myself. It really speaks to me. I was really into photography in my younger years. I have never got my head around digital techniques, I've just never put the time in. But I absolutely loved spending hours in the dark room playing around with various techniques, a lost art now xD I enjoyed seeing the Sacred Nature too, it's been near top of my wishlist but I don't use a lot of oracles, I loved seeing you pair it with the CoD!!
Hi Silvia! Really appreciated your talk about the Circle of Doors Tarot and photography techniques needing to reflect clear intention. I have looked at the deck so many times and cannot yet pull the trigger, probably for the reasons you explained ~ some of the cards don't convey (or at least I don't get) that deeper insight I'm always looking for, so feel I'm missing messages. I feel the same about many collage decks. So am downsizing my library. I'm really glad you included this segment of the video, as it helped me clarify what was bothering me about the deck and can now safely cross that one off my list without FOMO!
Hi Vada! I feel like I’ve found a bond with this deck now that I pair it with the Sacred Nature Oracle. Before that, when I was considering it by itself, I really felt like it missed something. It’s got an excellent guidebook though, very inspiring 🥰 I’ve tried pairing it with the Death Doula and it works as well. But of course it’s always a matter of gut feelings! I got it second hand for a really affordable price ☺️
My ears perked up when i heard you say “Eris”. My MIL was named Eris pronounced in Spanish and my granddaughter was named for her, Lilith Eris. Eris is the goddess of chaos & strife. Anywhooo… the Penumbra deck is stunning!!
I know! Sometimes I really butcher the names 🙈🙈🙈 When I see a name I can’t pronounce I automatically revert back to my native language 😂😂 Yes, the Penumbra is amazing 😍😍

Wow, the Liberation Tarot looks fantastic. I'm usually not into mixed media decks, but this one feels much more cohesive than others that blend art styles. And it went right from kickstarted to amazon!
The Liberation is definitely a surprise! I’d like the suit of swords to be more varied but overall it feels like a good reader too. I must say I was a bit disappointed that it went to Amazon straight away and cheaper than the kickstarter but sometimes they do this 🤷♀️😂
I just thought it was really quite sychronistic that both the decks you choose to assist you with liminal space work had bees chosen as artwork on the inner bottom of the boxes...like exact same insect, exact same place chose! 🙃
I personally find that the Circle of Doors is very evocative. it's a deck with many layers, literally and the guidebook is magnificent. I understand though what you mean about the stacking of photos, it can't be done without a purpose otherwise it won't make sense. Thanks for sharing!
The light seers was my first deck that wasn't the RWS 3 years ago. I was so drawn to it! So when I couldn't connect with it or read it I was so sad. I kept trying and gave up. I brought it out this month and tried again and omg! We did it. I'm so happy 😁 It goes to show that decks don't work out sometimes but I don't like to get rid of them because one day they will 😊
I agree! We change all the time and sometimes we’re just not ready for a specific deck, but that doesn’t mean we’ll never connect with it. I put my decks in purgatory before I decide to re-home them 🥰
