Taken from the DIR EN GREY x PIERROT Androgynos Live, 1st Day -A View Of The Megiddo-. "Kūkoku no kyōon" means "The sound of footsteps in the empty valley". I love the song and especially this performance - the camerawork and just the overall atmosphere are outstanding in my opinion.

Annotations:
"In memories so intense I'm flooded with them" - The expression to describe the intensity here is usually used when saying that someone drinks a lot. It can be used in other contexts too, though. Because I still think that the imagery plays a role here, I kept the literal translation as well ("flooded with them").
"The reason I kill myself" - In the original, it is purposely worded to emphasize "I" as an entity or character, like saying "The reason I kill me", "The reason I kill I", making it sound almost a bit clumsy.
"I now keep to myself my habit of saying that it's because I'm weak" - An expression is used here as well. "To put something into one's chest" means to keep it to oneself. I discussed with a friend exactly in which way it can be understood here: He used to always say (out loud) "It's because I'm weak" (habit) but from now on he decided to keep it to himself.

I can't speak for all the members, but I'm a massive Kaoru (guitarist with the purple guitar) fan. Kaoru mainly does his own make-up, sometimes they have a make-up artist/hair stylist on tour but I know Kaoru does his own most of the time (sometimes asks the stylist to do his hair)

I don't know about every single member, but Kyo and at least a few others do their own makeup. Kyo also picked up drawing out of nowhere during a tour around 2012 and has since released a ton of work (including doing the cover art for Rinkaku, as well as some cover art for Sukekiyo and other artists).

This is the first video i’ve seen of your reactions. I’m so happy you 1) reacted to Dir en Grey and 2) reacted to multiple tracks of theirs. I watched all the reactions videos and came back to write this comment 😁 I first saw Diru in 2006. Withering to Death was the latest release and I fell in love with the emotions in each track. Back in ‘06, they already had noticeable history, and yet they’ve continued to this day to consistently add to their discography🤯 Even though there have been albums i’m not 100% keen on, I still respect Diru’s evolution with each release. Kyo, Shinya, Die, Toshiya & Kaoru are some of the most talented musicians each in their own right. I feel lucky to be able to enjoy their art 🖤 cheers!
