@@fasteddie8742 Yes! I usually have a few comics on the fence going into upcoming Wednesdays and spiderboy is usually only on it because I’d never imagined buying a spiderboy book but every issue up to this point has been really great in their own right. I’d def keep on the pull list until u feel it’s necessary to remove it
I just noticed you missed Dark Horse’s “If you find this, I’m already dead.” Issue 2 was out this Wednesday and it’s 100% worth your time (more so than a lot of those Marvel and DC books).
Why does Marvel have so very few ongoing series? Back when I was a kid as a huge Marvel fan back in the Bronze Age, continuity was counted upon each month. I was picking up and reading all Spidey books, Avengers books, Hulk books, Daredevil books, and many others. Now Marvel books get discontinued, and nothing is even close to hitting 100 issues. DC has Action Comics and Detective Comics 1000+ continuous issues. I appreciate the continuity. I never thought I would switch from Marvel to DC, but if I had to pick one, DC is putting out the best stuff now compared to Marvel, and the card-stock variant covers and overall quality of the product is something I appreciate. I buy way more Image than Marvel books for the last couple years.
I think my biggest issue with Marvel books is that they cannot maintain a stable art team on a book. Juan Frigeri has been on Invincible Iron Man for almost the entire run so far. Other than that Marvel’s books are a patchwork of artists that range from great to mid to who? Ultimate Spider-Man is already switching artists with #4. I don’t understand this strategy.
with the changes from spawn 350 i wonder if we get some cool spawn vehicles. cars and planes, as they shouldnt be able to fast travel anymore. and haunt should be the most powerful 'hero' right now.
Really wish Jamal Campbell was still on Superman or at least coming in for every other arc. His art is incredible and made the book really feel like the old show
bro, you seem to forget we had a writer's strike which also affected comics as well. batman 89 echos issue #1 came out before the strikes. also of things may take longer to come. so, don't get discouraged.
That's weird None of the comics I buy were affected by the writer strike of t v and movies And during that time I didn't hear anybody talk about the strike affecting comic books Comics frequently are late That was true, before the writers strike of TV and movies and after the strike. And during the strike
I know you read a lot of books, and get this weekly video out quickly, (very much appreciated )but if there was any way to call out bad art practices to bring that topic to a wider audience that would be awesome. In this case Sorrentino is being called out by many artists (and readers) in the community for using Ai in his Tenement comic pages. From samples I've seen from his pages it is pretty obvious (when looking for it) and needs to be called out as a negative for comic book (and art) production. The artist, the editor, the publisher, all who put their green stamp on it need to be told this is unacceptable. I hope you agree.
What are your thoughts on the allegations of Andrea Sorrentino using AI in his comics? I find it weird he's made no statement and it's been quite a while now?
Kind of upset to hear Infernals sinking so fast. I loved the concept presented in #1 - like The Omen + Succession, with oddly kind demons - so...disappointed
55 minutes of comic reviews fly's by. What an amazing week for comics. Awesome work every week, thank you!
So glad I found your show. It's greatly appreciated !
Cobra Commander 3 was the best yet … this issue was Quentin Tarantino-like perfection.
Always amazed by how many books you're able to read in such a short time. Keep up the good work🖖
Watching this realized how many books we have this week…. Damn! But awesome video and getting us hyped for New comic book Day every week.
Spider-Boy is awesome, he's the only Spider-person that doesn't feel derivative, and he bites people. It's hilarious.
Every time I consider taking it off the pull list I read the previous issue and get reminded why I love it so much. Such a fun read
@@WayvoCrawfordreally? Was wondering to keep it on the pull

Thanks for another great week

I’m sure there will be a new Blade number one.. Marvel can’t have one series get to many issues before renumbering. Same creative team just relaunched
If a superhero sprains his ankle, Marvel will re-start the numbering at issue #1 😂
I love what Image is doing with Gi Joe and Transformers. I’ve never read Transformers until now…well except Gi Joe Vs Transformers by Tom Scioli.
Hellifino... because "What's a mix between an elephant and a rhino?"
That's genius.
Love seeing Man's Best getting pick of the week! Great reviews as usual RR.
Speaking of Qbert when are we going to get a Saturday Supercade comic?

It's weird. Cause the artist is more important than the writer.
@@langreeves6419 if Marvel is struggling and trying to cut costs maybe that’s why. An artist is probably much more expensive than a writer.
Really hope you give Blowtorch/Pinpoint Aliens Passage one shot a try next week. Full color action one shot. Really fun read.. think you will like it.
Bryan Hill is writing Blade in Bloodhunt: Midnight Sons for three issues. Look out for a #1 relaunch after that >_>
It would be nice to see Jim Lee come back to draw Superman again
Batman ‘89 Echoes #1 was dated Jan of ‘24, so it was published in November. That HAS been a long time.
I damn agree on Cobra Commander especially at the end. That sh**t was the bomb.
with the changes from spawn 350 i wonder if we get some cool spawn vehicles. cars and planes, as they shouldnt be able to fast travel anymore. and haunt should be the most powerful 'hero' right now.
I think the Nacelleverse will hit harder with fans of the toylines, I happen to love the Sectaurs so looking forward to it
Jango Fett legs are definetly of someone that misses doing leg day at the gym 😂
Tom King's new Wonder Woman issue was great!
Really wish Jamal Campbell was still on Superman or at least coming in for every other arc. His art is incredible and made the book really feel like the old show
I am not paying 799 for a marvel advertisement for upcoming spider man comics
Marvel, you're making me question why I buy anything from you
They should have called the web of Spider-Man Spider-Man Point One
What’s with us 90s kids and shiny covers? I spend so much extra every week cause I’ll buy anything shiny or die cut
bro, you seem to forget we had a writer's strike which also affected comics as well. batman 89 echos issue #1 came out before the strikes. also of things may take longer to come. so, don't get discouraged.
The writer’s guild is only tv and movie writers. It did not affect comics.
That's weird

Comics frequently are late
That was true, before the writers strike of TV and movies and after the strike. And during the strike
I have a feeling Blade being 10 issues is more on Hill than Marvel. I think he's a busy guy and I don't know if he does long runs.
Oh boy, i think im gonna have to finally add Cobra Commander to the pull list!

The kid double R,my man👍🔥👏
ROCKINNN ROBBIIEEEEE
Didnt marvel tell us in Timeless, who is the new moon knight??

Besides the Ultimate books, Blade is the only Marvel in interested in!
Did the web of Spider-Man include Spider-Boy?
You look really young compared to the references you are dropping!
Right? I was like, Robbie is older than me!
Pitfall!!! Station !!!
No frogger?!?!? For shame Robbie
Pacific Rim was decent enough , sorry meant Dawneunner. Marvel and DC once again has been a hard pass
niceeeeeey
