Bluetip ~ Live ~ 11-14-98 @ UNGC, Greensboro, NC

I filmed Bluetip playing at the Faculty Center at the University of North Carolina Greensboro on November 14th, 1998. Here they are playing "F-" from their 2nd LP 'Join Us' and "Past Tense" from their first full length "Dischord No. 101". Band had just released "Join Us" and played many songs from it that night.
This show was in a small random building on campus with nobody doing anything "running the show" related, people wandering in and standing around looking at each other. Eventually Bluetip just set up the PA, did their own sound, played first and (I think) got the fuck out of there. Some dude walked around and charged some people and not others, he charged me more than the people next to me and when I asked why, he said "They look more punk than you, so figured you could pay more". Classic.

It's funny but "Past Tense" reminds me of the 1998 Fifa world cup. I was 11 or 12 and my family were all rooting for Brazil but I didn't care about soccer, I was addicted to Bluetip. I had just knew them. Good times!
