There's a C++ implementation of Whisper that you might want to check out. Also, not sure if you heard, but the latest beta of Davinci Resolve Studio has transcription capability built in. It's not free in any definition of the word, but could be useful for people already using it for editing.
Ah! Very much looking forward to giving Whisper AI a go when I start making my channel (one of these days hahaha). I hope you keep this series up. Very helpful :)
I'm really enjoying Foliate too. Had some crashes in the Flatpak version. Reinstalled via apt on Debian 12. Runs smooth now. Did anyone else have the same experience?
Have you tried okular for reading e-books? I've been using it to read PDF's the past few years and it seems pretty solid, and supposedly it can handle e-book formats too, but I've got none to test it with on that front.
You can see these links sonewhere in your yt account manager in blocked messeges or something like that. One dude told me but some time ago, it's prolly still there
Spacebar is a neat app but recently it has started crashing frequently in Fedora gnome. After every reboot the app have to reinstalled to make it working! so I have stopped using it altogether.
Hello, Ι was wondering if you have any github up and running where you post your configs etc... also great work a great fan of your thumbnails: Unique to the point and everyone understands who they will be watching. Keep it up
didn't know that about UA-cam.....all those music links I sent must have been deleted. It seems like neovim is getting a lot of front ends added to it through Lua, maybe that would be something for the vim/nvim users out there
immich dont do indexing for existing directory lol, found out after installed this horrible shyt after destroying my nextcloud 😂😂 photoprism is nice but no phone app, and no timeline view
Foliate is great. I've been using it for a couple of year with no crashes.
That program crashes everytime u change themes, at least on the latest stable version.
We need this series again.

I think kdenlive has whisper built in though it too might be in beta.

Same here with MX Linux.

Can you use the Gnome SPACE BAR app to add the KD Plasma desktop to the gnome distro?

It's the bar that comes with qtile
@@TheLinuxCast thank you
idea ; comparison between nextcloud and immich
@@helloimatapir it doesn't mean it's pointless to compare, beta software can bring something new to the table or do something in a better way
immich dont do indexing for existing directory lol, found out after installed this horrible shyt after destroying my nextcloud 😂😂 photoprism is nice but no phone app, and no timeline view
Wow @ WhisperAI, I didn't know such a thing exists!
is Ryzen 5 4650g pro good enough for it?
I have a 3800x so probably. At least for the smaller models.
Been using foliate for over a year. Even paid software can't make me replace it.
Romeo and Jukiet, huh? Lol
eh, needed something that wouldn't get me copyright strikes, so I went with the most popular download on TGP.
Great work. Foliate looks good but works not so much.
Good video.
