Great shave! I really want to try the Rocca but I feel the blade gap is too large for me as a daily shaver with light growth. I wish Muhler would make a stainless R89. 40 degrees?! Wow.

R89 in 316, now that would be something 😊 Yeah, unfortunatelly there's a heat wave in SE Europe (hence °C) but nothing to heal it better as sudden super-cell storm afterwards 😬

Do you think is usable for frequent shaving? For example every 2 days?
Is it easy find combination of blade that work with that razor?

Yeah, I've made one "wicked-week" series with it to prove 😊 My beard is bit tough but slow-growing, it gets "sandpapered" fast but on 2nd day I achieve ideal results. Haven't found blade that doesn't work well with Rocca, yet, but I'd go with the milder ones: Astra, Treet, Wilkinson... BICs & PermaSharps are good but maybe just a touch thinner for Rocca's blade gap and blade exposure, tend to wear out quicker and cause micro-weapers

Do you think to try the Yaqi Mercury for make a comparison with the Rocca?
The head is different but there isn't hole on the plate as with the Rocca.

Not really tbh, tried DS-Cosmetics S9 but not too thrilled for "far-east" razors, used to be cheap but now I find it unacceptable for "tribute" razor to come close to originals. S9 is Gamechanger's spin-off 🧐

@@Wicked-Whiskers It is more a matter of propaganda than anything else.
The Dscosmetic, aside maybe for the base plate, is different from the Razorock Gamechanger in every aspect, handles, top cap, exposition of the blade and type of the exposition of the blade.
If you considering this don't to be enought ..., welll ..., what about the Razorock German 37 torward the Merkur 37c or the Razorock MJ-90A torward the Edwin Jagger DE89 or the Muhle R89 torward the Edwin Jagger DE89,etc.
      Double standard?
Plus no matter how apparently similar look, the result remain always different.
I wanted something with the same feeling of the Merkur 37c but if possible I prefer avoid to take another Merkur, going with the Razorock was an attempt to obtain the same feeling but with the added flexibility of a three piece razor.
Well the result wasn't of my liking probably for the positive exposure.
But that don't means that the Merkur 37c is perfect, so if someone is able to improve it I welcome them with open arm.
For example avoiding the exposure of the blade from the side of the head, eventually putting concave parts if considered necessary for optional adjustment of the blade, make another edition with a bigger gap, propose different materials, etc.

@@nonsolorasatura9093 yeah, good points, I guess I was expecting more of the improvements as you said but how much new things can be added to razor's market 😁 Pearl has some unique designs which I respect but they need to improve QC, same goes for Fatips. EJ and Muhle developed together *89 head, while R41 from early years seems to be sourced from Fatip (if you can dig some prior 2009 photos). Maybe I've just didn't found those razors interesting enough... but can't dispute on brush quality, Yaqi has some great synthetics for ridiculous prices and for that my greatest respect
