I know you guys Like the car content but my family loves this golf cart. I wanted to lower the golf car so bad but nobody makes a kit and I didn't have time to fab up my own(or the equipment) I decided I never lift anything so why not the golf cart. It is a Club car DS. The lift is a 6" Steeleng and all in all is not a bad kit. I also did new 12" wheels with 22 X 9.5 Tires. In the video I show you how to install the 6" lift and wheel tire combo. I also show the install of a New tinted front windshield. Not very tinted by the way!!
If you want to separate yourself from all the other golf carts out there then this is for you. Have a Pimp golf cart that looks different that all the others. Truly transform your Club car into something unique and different. Look like a Baller at the golf course or in your neighborhood lol. Hit the comments and let me know what you think.....

Really enjoyed the video. And I really appreciated how you explained everything and then showed us, step-by-step. It's very informative and very helpful. I am getting ready to lift the exact same cart and I'm a little intimidated by the fact that they don't give you very much when it comes to the instructions. So I'm very glad that I came across your video, lots of insight for myself. Nice job on the lift, the cart looks fantastic !!
Thank you. I appreciate that
I just thought I was the only crazy person building golf carts with my vette next to it. Beautiful cart n beautiful car
Lol. Thank you. It's since been sold.
It's all about modifying, and figuring out what you like, cause you actually have the experience!
Looks good, let's see how it holds up to that abuse... ;)
It's the Jake Nicklaus of golf carts.
Thank you. Lol. We shall see if it holds up.
Nice upgrades those wheels are sick really nice excellent work 🙌👍✌
Thank you buddy. I love the look now.
@@TWAMotorsports Me too 👍
Awesome video. Thanks. It will be helpful to anyone wanting to lift their cart. Also, your cart looks great.
Thank you. Hopefully it helps someone
I love it. I just got one a couple weeks ago. It’s a camp with off road tires and was already lifted and I think I need a stabilizer bar because it’s a bit squirreley but not horrible. You have helped me a lot to know what went into it so I should have no problem putting in a stabilizer bar knowing what’s all underneath there. Great video I really enjoyed it. Thanks
Thank you
Don't forget to send me where you buy your stuff
Video description has all links
Love the look of the wheels and lift. To me it looks like they sent you an untinted windshield. It came out sweet!
Thank you. Yeah its tinted but not much.
Turned out great. Love the look. Glad to see you went with polished wheels instead of black. You can order custom 2 tone staple on seat covers. That would finish it off perfect! I would do tan with a green insert.
I would like to repaint it at some point
I knew that lift kit was coming!
Lol. I like the new look.
TWA Motorsports looks sikk 👌🏻
@@SlackeredForLife thank you
Nice look. Good video speed. You should find the tie rod has two flat spots on the center section above the bracket to put a 1/2" wrench so the castle nut removed.
Great videos like always anything u do is interesting all the golf cart needs is a HD front clip with 22 intros on bags 👍 lol
Thanks buddy. Lol that would be sick.
Awesome video. Wheels look good. Turned out awesome.
Thank you John
As always clean looking !!!
Thanks Pat
Although I see some people complaining that you aren't working on the other projects, like my favorite WS-6, I enjoy all your content. How often am I going to be able to do a suspension modification on a golf cart, probably never? So, although I'd love to have that project to play with, time and money only allow me to watch you doing it. It would be awesome to be your neighbor. Keep up what you are doing, I look forward to all your videos!
Thank you. I like all kinds of projects. Golf cart is a nice family toy. Should be finished with it for a while.
Hey bro just found your channel love what I’m seeing and btw I have a 96 trans as well I’m taking out the 5.7 and about to put in the ls1 in so needless to say I just subscribe to your channel 🎉
Thank you for subscribing.
Love the channel, I sent pics of my cars
Thank you Luis. I got them. Will be in a coming video.
Cool cart sweet ride
Thank you
looks great!
Thank you
NICE! I guess they didn't have a lowering kit? That gold matches the green good. I want those same wheels for my 94 Silverado. (But bigger.)
Thanks Dustin. No unfortunately no lowering kits but for how its used this works better.
Lowering can be done with stock parts and very little cash out lay, on a DS anyway. I've done it a couple times.
It's cool as long as you never leave the asphalt.
Love it...cooool!
Thank you Mike.
Ezgo custom front bumper
Probably just leave it for now.
In your opinion, do you like the handling of the front suspension? Some say the heavy duty lift kit is stiffer than the regular lift kit, SYT!
I don't love it but it's cheap and I have gotten used to it
I have to do my 2002 ds. I need wheels and tires.
My new idea make golf carts with windshields, small doors and automatic windows ac and heat yes
Lol. That would be nice
@@TWAMotorsports thanks
very nice
Thank you
Pimping ain't dead, now to get her rolling smoke off those new tires.
I wish it would do that lol
I have the same lift kit, getting ready to install did you ever do anything else to stiffin up the arm or is that just the way they are going to be?
Just the way they were
Always the biggest bang for your buck and oddly it makes the carts look really good!! The rear seats or an actual utility/dump box are the other great alterations!!
Well done! Thanks for sharing, Eh!
I agree. Cheap and looks better
🙌🙌🙌
Thank you
Did you have to drill out the holes for the stabilizing bar and steering studs to fit in? I have the same lift kit and the jointed studs with castle nuts don’t seat all the way down?
I didn't have to do that
I’m kind of new to your channel, but what year is your cart?. I live in AZ and was thinking about getting one for my teenagers
Its actually a 97 that had been really well taken care of.
What year and model is this golf cart?
Old. Like a 97 I think
its a havasu cart.
that must've been a giant piece of glass
It wasn't glass but plex
Random question! I know this is 7 months old, but do you have the link for the lug studs? Can’t seem to find them online.
I don't sorry
What the rims offset and tires size?
Not sure. Been a while. Think I listed in video description
How much was your golf cart
2200 I think
Where did u get the lift kit?
Ebay. Link in video description
On the upper a arm put a 1/2 washer on the side where it mounts them tighten them down. Then the slack is gone
Thank you for that. I will do the same.
How did this effect the stability? Like you my kids drive the cart and I'm worried they will flip it the day after I lift it. Also do you find this lift kit is better than others? Any regrets?
It's a little too much lift at first but seems stable.
I did a 6in. lift on my Yamaha g16 and put 2in. Wheel spacers on. Really stabilized the tippy feeling.
Maybe I need spacers
You won't regret the spacers. Just make sure they aren't for a Yamaha. They are metric lugs. Club carcass easy go are standard lugs.
Ok. Thank you
Where do you order your wheels and lift it and windshield I'd like to do mine like that I have the same golf cart
I listed links in video description
Good video do not put small a tires on ,it will look silly
I didn't
What model tire is that? Looks great!
Kenda I think. Link is probably in video description
Did you have any issues with driver side brake line being really tight after this lift? I just did mines and I had to remove the driver side brake line cable hanger because it was so tight and the brakes were really sensitive and unable to use. They feel better after removing that hanger but the line now hangs a little low.
I didn't have that issue. I did have issues with the ground strap on the engine though
@@TWAMotorsports so you were able to leave the brake line hanger up on both sides? I’ll have to look again to see if I can get it clipped again. Thanks for the reply.
Mine may have been moved before I bought it
Kids sure love to tear stuff up
Always
Might be cheaper to revoke the son’s golf cart driving privileges....He seems to be doing a lot of damage.....
That's probably true
Not a TA or Corvette video...oh well.
Lol I know. Last golf cart video for a while I promise 👍
don't worry about about the A arm, your kid will ruin that buggie anyway. My dad would have beat my ass for scratching the paint, let alone the other damage. kid's these days....WTF?
Lol. That's true. My dad would have done the same.
Now THAT was an ABSURD amount of ad breaks. I will never watch another one of your vids.....
He doesn’t put ads on his videos UA-cam does and it ain’t that bad so chill out
Get utube premium and you won't have any interruption
Great video but damn that Music was awful and annoying 😂
Thank you. Free music generally sucks
Those look like nitto tires.lol
They do kinda look like nittos lol
Is this content
Heck yeah. Look at that sick golf cart. Lol
