I never found a partial seam block difficult to make. I think they are fun because they just fall into place “like magic.” They also make a very pretty block. Not many patterns use them; but, made one awhile ago and was reminded how much I enjoy making them.

Good. I needed a refresher. Elder lady taught me to quilt. She showed me how to make a LeMoyne Star block using partial seams. I was so tired of that block trying to get it done. There is an easier method now.

I made a quilt using a partial seam years ago. It’s not hard but you do need to pay attention not to catch the underside, Glad to know there is a tutorial video for reference!

Oh, Kimberly, I love this quilt!! And want to make it.... that is after I check my list of Quilts I Will Make in 2024 List. Kidding aside, I'm sure at some point it will be made as I remember my maternal grandmother had made a quilt using this block and the fabric line is by my Very Favorite Designer.
