In this my new video of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 you can see a short comparison between Spider-Man and Spider-Man when he is under the control of the symbiote.
This spider-man vs symbiote spider-man video was recorded, played and edited completely by me, the video is taken from the PS5 version of the game.
In this video you can see how Peter Parker's personality changes when he wears the black suit in the Insomniac Games game. As we have seen in Marvel comics and in the films released at the cinema, when Peter bonds with Venom he changes his attitude becoming much more aggressive and dangerous.
In the video you can see this change in Spider-Man which can also be seen while fighting crime on the streets.

I wish there was a JJJ report or something that happens for the first time after you beat up people in the symbiote suit, where he says they’re in critical condition in the ICU, something on that vein. Would really put into perspective how deadly Peter is when he’s not pulling punches.

I remember one time I came across a high speed chase and was going to skip it but the criminals started saying stuff like "Step on it! We don't want the Spider on our tail! Have you SEEN him lately?!" and sounded terrified when I landed on the roof of their car
@@Subpar1O1yeah, when the bad guys get back up, I can hear the fear in their voice when they arrive On the scene. And sometimes the back up criminals just dip when they arrive, funny yet satisfying.

I was so glad they did this difference. It reminded me of Spider-Man 3 for the PS2 where Peter actually reacts different depending on which suit he wore. I really believe this game was truly inspired by that game. They have Sandman, Kraven, the Lizard and Venom appear in both games. Not to mention, both Activision and Insomniac's Lizard boss fight have him HUGE with the conclusion Peter realizing the suit changing him. Wish Morbius and Shriek were too though as a bonus. But I wanna believe the Flame side missions was inspired by the Amazing Spider-Man 2 game as the Symbiote has a minor story within it but with Carnage as the final boss.
they took a lot of inspiration from previous spiderman black suit arcs in old games to make their own. And also amazing spider man 2 plot with sick harry... lots of things that old spiderman media already used but recycled into something new. The only real problem that this game have is being too rushed... peter should had the black suit for longer and that arc should change him more slowly.. also arc 3 could be bigger
@@MegasXRL I agree to that. I think the plan was originally that like more bosses to fight with the Symbiote. Like say... Maybe he fought Electro, Vulture and Shocker to make them realize he is not the same. But I think it was cut in order to save everything else for the sequel. I maybe didn't want this game to be the best out of the trilogy and wanted the last to be the best one.
I'm just trying to think what could be sensible for a marketing standpoint.
@@ErricaneI kinda regret not taking my time. Cuz I wanted to get the black suit as fast as possible. So I didn’t even take my time to do crimes while the symbiote is slowly taking over.
Yeah the game felt rushed they killed all the villains in the sinister 6 without even showing how they died and it was hard for me to understand how the symbiote was messing with Peter's mind if anything it benefited him in combat but made him a lil more aggressive. Not only that only 2 boss battles with the black suit I was kinda disappointed but I enjoyed the game

Y'know what I like the most about this game's dialogue? Regular-ass criminals say these threats to you as if they're gonna be the ones to take out the guy with the insane strength, a lot of fighting experience, and badass tech. It's adorable, pathetic, but adorable nonetheless.
I also like how after a while of have the black suit the criminals are like "watch out for those tentacles" and "that new suit isn't gonna change anything" i just thought that was a nice touch

I'm pretty sure they're adding mission replay as well as NG+. Would be awesome to get to replay the symbiote missions again

make sure you use the manual save feature, cause if you want to replay a different section of the game you can do "load game" before continuing your current game. just make sure you save your current game before loading a previous manual save

Little detail, if you wear the simbiote after the lizard fight misssion, if you go to a crime Peter will say we are coming but in a normal suit he will say I’m coming showing attention to detail that Peter is taken by the suit

He's not. If you pay attention, if you throw a thug off of a roof, Peter always plants one of his web traps on them that sticks them to nearby walls and keep them from falling to their deaths.

This is exactly why i made a safe file specifically for the symbiote suit during this point in the game. Not only do i hate the semen tentacles that the game forces you to have while you're wearing the black suit post story, but the lines are so much cooler with the black suit during this point.

wish we could have had more time with the suit. it felt like it was gone so quickly it just left me wanting more from it, would have loved if act two was the longest act with lots of side missions for peter to interact with his villains while using the symbiote. game is still great tho.

I'm pretty sure it's based on story progression, but I hope that changes in the March 7th update.
