Finally someone said it! 🙌🏻👏🏻 I always felt pressure to have a “style” but I decided I just like to be comfortable so I sold all my clothes and kept my workout clothes/hoodie/jeans/tshirts. Simple.. and basic but I’m happy with it I also stopped wearing makeup.
Yes! I don't believe that someone gets do decide what is stylish and what not! It is your choice and when you find what kind of clothes/makeup/hairstyle you like I believe that is your style ☺
My style is very fitted, no logos, only blues and browns, and fairly dressy. My usual look is a blazer, dress shirt, jeans, and loafers. I'm still transitioning my wardrobe because I lost a bunch of weight last year, and clothes that were too tight are now too big. The lockdown meant that I wore several of those garments out before summer, and I'm going to use the same strategy so I can restock again in the spring without guilt.
I realised that I don't like a lot of modern fashion. I don't like denim unless it's black, I don't like most sneakers, I don't like the whole athletic clothing trend. Recently I'm not even sure anymore if I like pants. I wear a lot of loose fitted midi skirts, cause I think they look good and are comfortable to wear at the same time. Also I can wear a lot of them all year round, I just put leggings or thick tights underneath during winter and wear them with boots. I don't want to look trendy, I want to look and feel like some magical dark forest fairy haha, maybe that can become my style uniform xD
I looked at my lifestyle and that changed what I needed to wear. The other things I can't stand are belts and high heels, poka dots and stripes. I stopped. even looking at these. I look for clothes that are easy to care for and versatile. I love black pants and bright pink, orange , green grey, off white tops and muted colours. If it doesn't look good on me, I don't choose it. I choose what I like and is comfortable. Sometimes I wear dresses. I like them to look nice but versatile and comfortable.
Ha, cool! I like your style. It's relaxed and not too boring :-) I'm somewhat afraid of filming a style video, because it is so hard to describe... I often thought (especially in my extreme minimalist phases) that I would finally be done with searching for the perfect style, but I guess you never are.... Maybe it's a good thing. I love expressing myself through my wardrobe, so it's okay that it keeps changing. Trying to keep it sustainable, too 🌷
So true at 17.55! I have a small wardrobe now I have noticed the patterns I like ! It really show it's repeated. I also have some solids too. My style is casual romantic and rocker! It's cool to see it before my eyes after having a huge wardrobe with just random stuff no thought process behind it! I think your great! Very informative so thank you new subscriber
Purple..... I feel you 🤣.... Nothing in my household ist allowed to have this colour. Lia, I love your content, thank you for sharing your thoughts, it's always a pleasure and an inspiration.
I onestly don't care anymore about style, I love wearing jeans, tracksuit bottoms, hoodies, shirt and chunky jumpers in winter. Also I love wearing sneakers and Doc Martens boots and I'm nearly 50 years of age. I like dark colors and I only own black, blue, grey stuff and a couple of white shirts, and I'll never change that. I don't follow trends but I want comfort and practicality. As you said, there's no right or wrong and everyone has their own taste and idea of what they wanna look like, following trends too much means having no personality and a minimalist definitely needs a strong one in order to know what he/she wants in every aspect of his/her life, including their wardrobe
I have been transitioning my clothing from fast fashion towards more sustainable brands, and discovered Patagonia. They will repair their clothing for free and have a trade in/used pieces program! They also are ethical towards production and their employees. Their clothing will last a long time. I’ve replaced a few sweatshirts with theirs but I’m going slowly because it is expensive. I’m curious about how you incorporate minimalism into your diet? As an American we have so much junk food and I’ve found the easiest way to eat healthy is just to stick to very basic groceries- produce, canned or frozen but fresh whenever possible, plain oats, rice, quinoa, etc. and I avoid meat most of the time but on occasion I will buy chicken. What kinds of things do you eat? I think this would be a fun video topic.
Oh yes, I love Patagonia! I only once bought something for my son but if I need something in the future they have that is definitely a brand I would buy clothes from! I keep eating pretty simple, we cook everything at home (also eating out or ordering food is super expensive here) and I always try to stick to fresh products as much as possible. I don't think we eat super healthy, I definitely love oil too much (for frying vegetables) but I am happy because I think we eat quite balanced and my body sea to be happy. I try to avoid eating loads of sweets but I don't avoid sugar altogether (I still love baling cookies or eating ice cream sometimes 😊) I think that's it 😉
What a coincidence. Today I found a very nice Pullover from patagonia in Front of an Container where you can put old clothes inside for Charity. I am happy about finding it. 😃
I always feel like I need to have special clothes in my wardrobe reserved for doing dirty things like painting or working outside but I very rarely do these things. What do you do?
By the way...I really like your style! 👌😘 Be yourself, trust your feeling and be fierce 😊 My style is skinny jeans and big dressy trousers. Boots and white sneakers. Oversized knitted sweaters and tank-tops. Classic bigger blazer. Big outercoats (black and camel) and shirts, big shirts in linnen, cotton and silk. I also love shoes. So I have high heels in black to mix if it´s a party. I use what I have collected. Seldom bye new things.
I think style has nothing to do with clothes. It has all to do with how you are feeling. I think that what you feel about yourself is reflecting in how you appear.
The one I uploaded is mostly not tie-dye (if I am correct tie dye only means wrapping some string around the fabric to accomplish patterns?) There is one tie-dye clip in it for my sons Tshirt but I personally also prefer no patterns ☺
"You don't even have to have a style" ... I like that statement
So, if you wear clothes that makes you feel good - That is your style woman! 👏
Finally someone said it! 🙌🏻👏🏻

I love the way you process outward issues. You have a way of saying things that just makes it make sense. I strive to be as self reflective as you!
I will wear whatever makes me comfortable and that's my style. Thanks

Style HAS ALWAYS been important to me. Even at a very young age.

Thanks for saying it. I don't want any style actually, because I don't feel any difference when I'm wearing my loungewear and my fancy clothes.
Thanks for mentioning the point that you don't have to follow this rule book of 'Wear clothes for your body type'
Thank uh!!! One of my most favourite ❤️❤️❤️
I always feel like I need to have special clothes in my wardrobe reserved for doing dirty things like painting or working outside but I very rarely do these things. What do you do?
Loved it just what I needed ! You are one of my favorite UA-camr 😊💚

I think style has nothing to do with clothes. It has all to do with how you are feeling. I think that what you feel about yourself is reflecting in
how you appear.
I only like black bottoms. I also wear red, white and black on top. I sew my own clothing so I can have what I want.
Can somebody please share a link to a video of how to dye shirts with onions without it being tie dye please !
The one I uploaded is mostly not tie-dye (if I am correct tie dye only means wrapping some string around the fabric to accomplish patterns?) There is one tie-dye clip in it for my sons Tshirt but I personally also prefer no patterns ☺
@@ecofriendlia Thanks Lia ! Will go have a look 🤗
That’s hard stuff! Especially when we try to not buy fast fashion.
I love! your videos
