I remember when you had that mindset shift about cleaning/homemaking and honestly it really made me think about how I think about it too. I really have tried since to be more positive about chores and seeing it as a service to my family who I love. So thank you for that, i hadn't really heard it framed like that before! x
You should check out the book Glimpes of Grace, Missional Motherhood and Treasuring Christ When Your Hands Are Full. All by Gloria Furman. She’s amazing and these books shifted my mindset about motherhood and homemaking in general too. Sally Clarkson also is great for this topic. The Life-giving Home and Life Giving table are soooo great and well as Mission of Motherhood. I just threw a lot at you but felt lead to share. This is eternal work even if we don’t see it now. ❤️
I love Charlie’s soap. I get it in bulk on azure standard. I used the powder when I cloth diapered. But now I use the liquid and it’s highly concentrated so you don’t need much. It’s unscented. We homestead and have tons of dirt and mud and blood on clothes when butchering and all doing farm work and I really am pleased with it.
Same here , also with time house cleaning becomes therapy! When I am overstimulated I clean and pray 😂

Biokleen laundry detergent is great! They have their own version of oxyclean that works well. We use some vinegar too for the more active clothes and all together it works very good. I would recommend.
Oh yes a deep clean is one of the most rewarding things I do - I mean it takes me forever to get organized to do it but when it happens... haha it's AMAZING! Hope the fam is feeling much better now!

I understand what you’re going for with a different wood tone on your island. I personally like it the way you have it now.
It’s light, bright and cheerful. Getting rid of the tile floors made a huge difference.

Yes! I either listen to praise music or an audio meditation so my sink time is valuable time that I reflect and pray during. Love this! I started doing that about a year ago when I felt the same way and it's helped my efficiency and attitude

What do you put the dropper ones in so that your kids will drink it/not hate the taste?
I pour it in the morning liquid! They like it! But you could add some juice to it too.
