Your chicks are so cute. We have 4 hens. If you get racoons in your backyar make sure that you put some kind of lock on the chicken coop that the racoons can't open. They can open most latches easily. Carabiner clips work great and the raccoons can't open them.

Raccoons are very smart put stronger locks because they can open it without hesitation it always happens... Make it more predator proof!!

Where did you get the Jean jacket you’re wearing? I’ve been looking forever for one in this color and oversize. Are you having to shop more for swimsuits now that your busy?????
The coop has to be more predator proof trust me 100%% because raccoons will attack, kill and eat these babies :( :( :( I lost a hen years ago and it killed me I feel like I failed her. You need hardwire mesh all over, cover all openings, make a skirt all over the coop and watch the difference. Keep a goos eye on them because raccoons are the worst predators with hacks, foxes, skunks, possums and a tons more. Do your research please and good luck. Hoping to see you make a change once you see them as friends and not food. Look into their eyes and you'll see what your heart will tell you.
